Otis POV
So after Spade and max visited I made Skylar and I food, then went to sleep.
.The next morning.
I woke up the next morning to a phone call from my mother, I picked it up.
Mother: Otis....
Otis: yes..?
I heard my mom crying at the other end,
Mother : peace.... peace is gone....
Otis: huh?
Mother: she's gone! Your sister is fucking dead!!!
Otis: t-this is a j-joke right?....
Mother: yes this is a joke....
Otis: thank go-
Mother: of course it's not a fucking joke Otis what the fuck!
I started to cry.
Otis: where is she.....
Mother: the hospital.
I hung up, and got out of bed to get ready. As I did I heard a voice. "Left you good?" " no...." I answered, "then what's going on?" Skylar said with a tint of confusion. "I can't talk right now Skylar now I have to go...." I ran out of the room to the hospital not caring that I had a car, I just ran. Once I got to the hospital I saw the enterence and open the doors. I went to the front desk, "is Peace White here?" I said with a shaky voice. "Yes but... she's passed." The girl answered, "I know... I just want to say my good byes..." I answered. "Ok so are you related to her?" She asked, "yes..." I mumbled. "How?" She asked me again. "I'm her fucking brother!... sorry... I'm just stressed...." I started to sob, "I was so close to her just didn't see her much...." I sobbed. "Room 6 floor 6" she smiled weakly. I fast walked to the floor than to the room, once I got there I slowly opened the door to see a lifeless sister. I ignored my family and sat next to her lifeless body and hugged her whispering. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" I kept repeating, "I'm sorry I couldn't be there...." I sobbed on her lifeless body. I brushed my fingers through her grayish hair. "Please let this be a dream....." I cried, I hugged her again then saw how beat up she was from bruises and cuts......
