- Diane Gabriella -

The past week has been hectic. Ever since the 14th, everything has changed. Adrian, Mari and Andre has been cracking jokes every 5 minutes. My online friends are now making me a youtube channel.

"If Diane laughs at one of our stupid jokes, I will open a Youtube channel for her," Evan promised whilst playing GTA.

And they did. Andre, Mari and Adrian wanted to move in with me. I agreed. College in less than another 6 months. I don't even know if I should be proud.

I was on my way home with my friends of course.

"Oh by the way, why were you so riled up  just now?" Adrian asked Mari.

"Oh well you see..." Mari blabbered on.

I followed behind with my mind blank followed by the events that happened on the 14th. I stopped on my tracks, thinking.

"Diane? Down to earth Diane?" Mari snapping me back to reality.

"Huh what?" I asked.

"Have you been getting sleep lately?" Adrian asked.

"She's a youtuber now. Means she has to record Adrian," Andre sighed.

"You need to sleep," Adrian sighed.

"We will send you home first okay? Now lets go." Mari sighed dragging me with them.

We made our way to my apartment.

"Go up and get some rest okay? Today's Friday anyways. We'll drop by tomorrow and who knows," Mari winked, wiggling her eyebrows.

I sighed, smiling a little. "I guess so. I'll see you guys tomorrow then." I waved then walking into the building.

I reached the door of my apartment, heaving a big sigh. Removing my shoes and socks, I headed straight to the bathroom. Preparing myself a warm bath. Dipping myself into the heated water, I curled myself, hugging my knees.

All in my mind was, what was it? Why did it happen? Who did it? Why did that person shout my name?

My mind was so fuzzed up. I slapped my cheeks.

"Stop thinking so much, it has passed." I sighed.

I stayed in the bath for a while trying to remove the thought from my head. Afterwards, making my way out changing into my clothes, proceeding to the living room. I grabbed a wine glass, looking at the wine safe. Pouring a glass for myself, grabbing the tv remote. Switching on the tv, as cliché as it seems, the news was on. I sighed switching off the tv.

I sat on the side on the round chair beside the window. I swung my leg as I stare into the city. I sipped on my wine.

"Good evening auntie," I greeted.

"How did you know?" Aunt Illumi asked.

"Instincts I guess."

"How are you dear?"

"Very well fine I think,"

"School?"

"Easy,"

"I missed you. You have grown quite a lot I see."

"I guess you can say that,"

Silence filled the air afterwards.

"What did you mean by 14th April. The text you sent," I asked.

Aunt Illumi stood beside me silent.

"Well, it is unexplainable," She started. "You see-"

"Someone's over there," I stopped her, pointing at the burnt down bulding.

I stood up from my seat.

"Diane, no. You're gonna get hurt," Aunt Illumi tried to stop me.

I made my way to my room, changing to full length leggings, and slipped on a hoodie. Slipping on my shoes, I made my way out. Aunt Illumi looked at me.

"Don't go overboard. As for the 14th April? It's the day where your curse has been lifted. Take care child. Also, home awaits for you," She said as she disappeared.

I shrugged and made my way out of my apartment. I made my way through the alleyways, stopping in front of the building that was hit last week. Heaving a sigh, I made my way around the police tapes. Inside the building, everything was burnt down.

A sudden wave of wind blew past me, the street lights, shattering. I looked behind me, no one was there. I continued making my way around the debris of the building, eventually going up to the stairs. I ended up on the rooftop.

A strong wind blew past by. Someone's presence was getting stronger.

"You must be Diane Gabriella," Someone said from behind.

I faced back, a person's silhouette.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You."

"What will you do if I don't want to?"

"Someone will get hurt."

I clenched my fists. "And that somebody should only be me."

The person's shadow lounged towards me, quickly enough, I managed to dodge the attack.

I'm not angry. I'm not angry. I'm not angry. This is just a sudden attack. I'm not angry.

"Come at me. I just want to see how you are. And see whether the rumours were true,"

Rumours. Attack.

"I don't want to," I stood on my spot.

"Just play with me," The person taunted. "It'll be fun."

Diane, control.

"I said, I don't want to!" I said as I swung my arm forward hitting the person.

The person flew back, crashing onto the concrete wall. I stood still, breathing heavily to the temptations I had.

"You're stronger than I expected," the person laughed. "Well too bad, I am being called back. You better watch your back. We will always come for you."

Then vanishing. I fell onto my knees.

Why is my heart palpitating?

I caught my breaths before standing up. I made my way back to my place. Upon reaching the front entrance, I saw Agent K. I ran towards him.

"Good evening milady," He greeted.

I waved, not knowing smiling. I made my way back up to my apartment. Making my way into my room, I jumped onto my bed reaching for my phone.

"These losers have been waiting for me huh," I mumbled, giggling.

Sighing, I sat up. Switching on my laptop. Joining the boys discord call.

"Oh brother," I smiled, putting my headset on.
