- Diane Gabriella -

"Hi, name's Diane Gabriella." I greeted as I bowed in front of the class.

"Any other facts about you dear?" Mrs. Selena, I suppose that's her name.

I shook my head no. She smiled and pointed me to my seat. I made my way to my seat. As I settled down, my watch buzzed.

when are you coming back ?
we are still waiting for you.
come back whenever you are ready.

I ignored the messages and tried to focus in class. Which was the impossible. I scribbled in my notebook for most of the lessons. That's all that I did. Lunch came in. I was packing my books into my bag as I planned to walk around the school. Or something.

"Hi, I'm Joanna Mari Osamu. Call me Mari," She smiled as she waved at me.

"Adrian Kei. I have a long name so call me either both." A male hands his hand out for me to shake.

I shooked his hand as I smiled.

"Do you want us to show you around?" Mari asked.

I was unable to say no as they grabbed my things and pulled me out of the classroom. We ended up in the shoe locker first. The two ran to their lockers and put on their shoes. They then waited for me to put on my shoes. I was then dragged to the front of a  convenience store which was less than 5 minutes.

"This place here is a well-known convenience store for the students in our school. But come, follow us," Adrian introduced.

They looked around for students from our school. We walked towards an alleyway leading towards another hidden shop. We entered the shop, a strong breeze greeted me, making me feel invited.

"This is our secret spot," Mari smiled.

I froze as they introduced the place.

"This is just between the three of us," Joanna continued.

I looked around, the place was empty. An empty convenience store with tables. Except for two others who looked like regulars.  They lead me towards a table telling me to seat as they handed me my things.

"Stay here, it's on us," Adrian winked as they walked away.

I sat there still scanning the area. After a while, I started to zone out as I continued to wait for them. My watch buzzed several times again.

remember we are watching you
our blood runs in you

I sighed as I switch off the watch. The two finally came back with a whole plastic of food. The two sat down looking very satisfied with everything on the table.

"Trust me, the food here is better than the convenience store in front of our school," Mari informed as she hands me a plastic full of food.

"Thank you," I thanked.

They both smiled as we started to eat.

"Sorry to suddenly pull you out just like that, but you see I had been keen on you as soon as I saw you outside the gate," Mari started as she chewed on her food. "You seemed to have an unknown aura that intrigued me."

"When I first saw you in class, I noticed that everyone was looking at you.  And it was the first time the whole class paid attention to something for that amount of time."  Adrian included.

"Wait. Stop right there. You can stop. I understand now," I stopped them as I really didn't want to know how they found me 'intriguing'.

They both laughed at my comment as they continued to eat.

"So, tell us about yourself," Mari looked at me with puppy eyes.

I wanted to not tell anything about myself but they have been looking at me for quite some time now and I kind of felt uncomfortable about it. So instead, I gave in and talked about myself.

"Well, uh, how do I start. I like to play games?" I introduced but it sounded more of a question instead of an introduction.

They laughed at me not knowing how to introduce myself. We continued on for about a good 25 minutes before we had to rush back to school due to the lunch period ending in 5 minutes' time.

The day continued on with lessons and more lessons in where I tried to focus but failed. Finally, the day has passed quickly it was the end of the last period. Adrian and Mari ran towards my table and we exchanged phone numbers, walked out of the school together. The part where we part ways to our own homes. Glad to say, it was a good first day.
