Chapter 18

3rd POV

"Gina!" Charlie screamed running up to the girl and hugging her.

"Hi! Guys I don't wanna interrupt!" Gina said smiling.

"How did you get here!" Carlos asked.

"A friend bought me a last minute flight back. I was gonna drop off these cupcakes, then hide in the gym and cheer you guys on." Gina said.

"Gina no one in the gym wants to hid more that I do!" Kourtney exclaimed. Gina looked at Kourtney then smiled.

"Wait are you playing Taylor?" She asked.

"I was and it was nice, and now it's your turn to save my burr and do the dance." Kourtney said handing her the tray. "Please I'm asking you."

Gina looked at Ms. Jenn. "Can I?" She asked.

"Of course. You can curtain call together!" Ms. Jenn said excitedly making everyone else yell out happily. "Let's hit the halls people!"

Charlie and everyone else danced and sang to stick to the staid quo until it was Ginas part.
Charlie was so happy Gina was back to play Taylor has she smiled while watching Gina dance.

They finished the song and all went backstage or to the spots they needed to be at. They went to the theater room and Charlie and Gina hugged again.

"You were amazing!" Charlie exclaimed.

"You were too!" Gina said. Gina looked ahead a nudged her. She looked and saw Ricky. She walked up to him.

"Hey!" Charlie said smiling.

"Hey you did great out there." Ricky complimented her.

"Thanks you're also amazing out there. It's actually surprising that this is your first show." Charlie said chuckling.

"So, Gina's back! You must be happy." Ricky said looking at Gina who was talking to Kourtney.

"Yeah I'm just upset that she has to leave after though. She's basically my best friend." Charlie said.

"Hey don't worry about. Gina will figure it out." Ricky said. Charlie smiled at him. They stared into each other's eyes for awhile.

"Ricky we need you in your harness pronto!" Carlos yelled to Ricky making them break eye contact.

"Go fly Mr. Bolton." Charlie said smiling. Ricky smiled back a walked away.

Charlie watched on the side as Ricky preformed. They were doing amazing.

Charlie watched as Ricky got attached to the wires. She was happy everything was running smoothly. Ricky was pulled up to the basket.

Charlie watched as Ricky's faced dropped and he dropped the basketball he was holding. She looked at were he was looking she saw his dad, Mr. Bowen, and next to them was a women. That must be his mom. Charlie thought as she watched a man sit next to Ricky's mom and put his arm around her. Oh no.

Ricky started to sing again avoiding what he just saw. They continued the song as Charlie watched Ricky tried to dance along but couldn't. He walked away at the end.

Charlie ran over to the other side as Ricky walked away.

"Ricky are you okay I saw what," Charlie started to say.
