Every story has a start somewhere, somewhen, somehow. And mine starts here, in Crystal Bay.

Crystal Bay is an enormous, beautiful city. it is quite known for the numerous lakes and woods that are surrounding the city. This town is the capital of Novaville, a recently found state. The city is almost a hundred years old, so many tourists from all over the world come to visit each day.

And what also fascinates these tourists the most are the people here. Many famous people were born and raised in Crystal Bay.

The other thing that they find interesting is the life the city has in itself.

During the day, mostly at noon, one of Crystal Bay's biggest buildings, the Melody State, chimes it's beautiful music box like tune that explains the history of the city at 12PM sharp, as a small puppet play is being displayed from the building's viewing screen.

At nighttime, Crystal Bay's title of the "Star Town" makes full sense when the lights surround the stars and moon as they shine on the lakes, a lot of photographers have made so many visually pleasing pictures, that some people even made it their goal to take a picture of Crystal at such times.

Many cities have at least one food that represents them, sweets and pastries are our representatives, we have around 7 big shops based on candy and cakes. Sweet coffees are also very popular here. My Auntie Jane runs a coffee shop right below our two story house.

I lived with Auntie Jane since my parents have gone missing out of nowhere one day they were just... up and gone. Just the night before, we were watching the city lights at night while talking about our day as usual. Yet, since they left and didn't come back for a whole week, Auntie Jane decided to take full custody of me.

Many citizens and tourists were gathering up for the daily Melody State Chime. As me and my friends were running after a thief hoarding stolen phones, watches and jewellery. The boy with the wavy red hair stopped running due to the lack of stamina, that's Xi Cheng.

He's the oldest out of all of us, he's in 8th grade. Xi isn't the most confident nor brainy one of us. But he's got the euphoric mindset amongst us.

"Huff... Girls, wait up!" Xi yelled out for me and my other friend.

"Oh, Shut it!" My friend Ruby shouted back as she sprinted after the thief.

Ruby Martin is the youngest out of the three of us, she goes to 6th grade. She may look cute but she's the most courageous, feisty and daring person I know. Her fashion sense is also very adorable, due to the bunny headband she always wear. But don't let that deceive you: She can break someone's leg if they either hurt me or Xi.

Ruby started sprinting faster than before, jumping to kick the man in his stomach almost hitting his ribs.

The thief fell over as the 11-year old sat down on him.

"Get off, you little brat!" He demanded.

"Not, happening, sir! Gimme that!" Ruby took the backpack, throwing it towards me.

I caught the heavy backpack as Xi and myself caught up with Ruby and the thief while a group of citizens and tourists ran towards us, they were the victims of the robbery.

Xi put handcuffs on him while he called the police after the thief gave in.

"Good job, Chief!" Ruby said, congratulating me on another success of a mission.

"Police are gonna be here any minute now!" Xi informed Ruby and me.

"Good." I reassured. "Thanks, you too! The way you caught up to him was amazing!" I said to Ruby while the victims retrieved their properties.

Xi, Ruby and I sat on top of the building that was across the Melody State as they showed the puppet play from the view screen, you could tell that the play was recorded way back by the slight yellow hue the screen had. One of the citizens that was tangled up in the robbery came towards us.

"Thank you again for saving my equipment! I'm a journalist and want to write a story about what happened today and about you mostly, you deserve more recognition.
"So who are you three?" The journalist introduced himself, asking in a friendly yet grateful manner.

"Oh, with pleasure!" I answered his question.

"Finally we're getting recognised for our actions, Xi!" Ruby exclaimed with excitement.

15-year old Xi was also expressing the excitement by giving me and Ruby a group hug.

"We are the Dreamerslands of Crystal Bay! Our purpose is to protect our city from any dangers. These are my comrades and close friends: Xi Chen and Ruby Martin. As for me, I am the leader of the Dreamerslands; Lou Velveteen. Nice to meet you!"
