Chapter 2

"I'm home!" Renjun said as soon as he opened the door of his apartment and started looking around. "Minnie! Where are you?"

Soon a brown and white cat walked in his sight in a peaceful, slow pace, but stopped as soon as it's saw something behind his owner.

"Minnie, meet umh... puppy-ssi?" He said, or rather asked, not sure how to call the puppy or if he should give him a name.

The cat just looked at the puppy. He started growling at him and arched it's back as the puppy started walking toward him.

The dog didn't seem to care though, as he just walked forward, towards the cat with his tail wagging. When the dog stood almost in front of him and started sniffing him, the cat just stood, froze on the spot.

As soon as the puppy reached his booty, he came back to his senses and run past the dog, fast like a bullet, and went to his own safe place, a.k.a. the top of his cat tree.

The puppy just looked after the cat, tilting his head slightly, but soon went back to what he did before. Sniffing.

He went around the whole apartment, sniffing everything that he could reach and when he couldn't, he just sniffed the air in that direction.

He seemed very happy with his tail wagging and a smile on his face. Okay, it wasn't a real smile. It was because he was panting, but oh well.

He still looked pretty darn cute. Renjun couldn't keep his eyes off of him, sometimes giggling at the puppy's silly behaviour and reactions.

Like when he went to the cat tree. He sniffed toward the cat, who was still on the top. When the cat had enough, it's started hissing, growling and scratched toward the puppy, who take that as a game and started growling and barking, while jumped around the cat tree.

That continued, until the cat had enough and decided to just ignore the dog who, after some time, got bored and started searching for something else that he can play with.

Or when he went to the boy's indoor plants and started sniffing it, but one of them had a very strong smell and he started sneezing. He started rubbing his nose, or rather his face, in every spot on the couch that he could nuzzle into.

As soon as he was done, there was a giant, brown stain on the couch.

Renjun gasped as soon as he saw it and the puppy sat down, with his tail between his legs and ears shut down to it's head with his upper body hunching forward.

It made Renjun think what could possibly happened to the dog, if he reacts to a simple gasp this way.

"It's okay buddy!" The boy said with a soft and calming voice, holding out his hand toward the puppy, who soon went toward him.

As soon as he reached Renjun's hand and the boy started softly petting his head, he was back to his happy self.

He started wagging his tail like crazy, while burying his head in Renjun's stomach, pushing Renjun on his butt with the power he went forward.

"Easy there, big boy!" He said, laughing at the puppy who, as an answer to that, started liking his face.

Renjun finaly pushed the puppy away, surprised by how much power does that little puppy have, but as they say, dynamite comes in small packages.

"Wow! Your smell is worse up-close. And your breath. We need to do something about those!"

He stood up from the ground. The puppy looked up at him in adoration, while the cat... He just looked at the dog, with so much hatred that I can't even discribe it. Trust me, I tried.

And what did he do about this whole situation? He turned around so he didn't need to see the puppy, or how his owner became a giggling mess around the puppy.

Well, that can be a solution too, I guess.
