Jaemin was woke up from his sleep by a loud shout and a lot of swear words, coming from outside the room.
He slowly get up, still tired and grumpy. Once he located that the shouting is coming from the kitchen and the voice's belonged to the only guy, who can make a confident gay like him, be all frustrated, he started walking toward the kitchen, to see Jeno in an apron, flailing with a dish cloth.
"What's going on?"
As soon as Jeno heard Jaemin's voice, he slowly turned around, after extinguished the fire.
After his eyes met with Jaemin's hard glare and looking at his angry face, he hide his hands behind his back, link it there and looked at Jaemin with guilty in his eyes.
"I was-" Jeno started, but was cut off by the boy.
"You were about to burn down the house?" Jaemin asked, raising his voice with each word, without him knowing.
"No it's not like-" Jeno started, but was cut off again.
"Renjun let you leave here, eat his food, sleep in a warm place and all you do is break everything and burn down the house?!" Jaemin asked, now shouting.
After doesn't getting any answer, he looked at the boy more closely.
His head hung down since Jaemin started shouting, his tail was between his legs and his ears lie low on his head.
When he realised that Jaemin isn't speaking anymore he looked up.
Jaemin heart shattered at the view. He know he made that. The always happy, kind and adorable puppy boy was now staring in his eyes with tears in his eyes and his lips trembling.
Without thinking, the cat boy walked fast toward the boy and the next moment one of his arm was around the boys waist and the other on his back, hugging him.
The boy slowly hugged him back, both of his arm around his waist, head burried in his neck.
He could feel his shirt on his shoulder getting wet and Jeno's body started to shake, making him feel more and more guilty.
"It's okay! I'm sorry for shouting at you!" Jaemin said softly, his hand, which was on his back, now caressing his head in a gentle manner.
"No" Jeno said, sniffing and crying "You're right. I can't do anything right. All I do is trouble."
"It's not true. I was just mad for a minute. Please don't cry."
They hugged for a few more minute, before Jaemin broke it, saying that he need his sleep.
The true is, after Jeno stopped crying and sniffing, his tail started wagging like crazy and Jaemin could feel his heart beating fast.
