The photoshoot started. Camera, Lighting flashing as it clicked. Monitor settled up.
The weather was somehow kinda a– bipolar? Sunny turning to cloudy? And next– being rainy. What else could ruin a busy day of mine, not like everything could be made out of rainbows or sort of joyful things. Heck no one even think of me as a happy person. I tend to smile when everything is leaving me. Enjoying the pain that I suffer the most.
I, Dahyun's assistant, is my job. Dahyun's parents left for abroad. I was told by them to take care of her even if I need to sacrifice for her. Though,yes, I owe them my life. The way they love her, saddened me– Im a lost child, not knowing of my reason living in this crucial life.
The last thing I saw when I was left, was a person saying "Jihyo-ssi... Mianhe~ I hope you live well and find someone who can protect you, o-okay? B-bye"
I was a child back then, didn't know what to do. Until I found Dahyun's Parents. Yet the image of it somehow looked good though Im afraid. Even though It felt like my path has changed, I still knew that Im living through this alone. It became quiet as if everything doesnt exist. I still remember those last words, should I be depressed? Even though I try to talk, to walk in crowded places, Im still alone. And everyone knows it.
"J-Jihyo? Uhmm... Im sorry that Im late, Sister is having troubles, and I had to help her"
It all came back to me when a soft voice came up, a little tap on the shoulder as my back was faced in front of the person. I blinked, as sudden tear flows. I wiped it and smiled as I turned around. Minatozaki Sana....
"Running late is your problem, Ms. Minatozaki. Now, care to explain the news?"
"W-what news?"
I inhaled deeply. This is the companies problem. Too much rumors spreading around could ruin its reputation. The atmosphere was tensed as no one dared to talk. Sana stayed still, confused. I smiled as I admire her beauty. I snapped back and remembered something before, though I came back to reality as I look at her with intimidating eyes.
"Rumors of you Dating? Are you clueless about that, Ms. Minatozaki?" I said as she gulped, a sweat dropped on the side of her face. She must have came late because of the rain. No matter how much I wanted to show my soft side– I cant. I need to work extremely.
"A-ahh... You see, I have a twin sister. I would like to explain, though in such a crowded place like where we are– I think we should talk privately?"
She smiled at me as I observed her actions and words. Seems like she is honest about it. I then call a staff and ordered for the others to rest, as well as Ms. Dahyun. I then looked back at her and nodded, letting myself out of the room and in my office. As I agreed to talk things out.
"Your explanation should be stated as the TRUTH of it. I don't like wasting if you're playing with me, Ms. Minatozaki"
"Ms. Park, I hope you understand me. I have a Twin sister. She is also an photographer, like me, under the CY Entertainment. Her name is Minatozaki Mina, and thats how it all started, she is dating and for your information. I am not the one who was spotted dating. Im sorry– if the company is dealing with this. I promise you–"
I left her in the office without saying anything. Lost of words. I won't waste anything. Not even a single thing. I understood, all I had to do was listen, I didnt have a problem with that. As long as she explains this to Dahyun. She is confused, hurt, angry. Who knows?
TIME SKIP•
I went back home. Hearing loud noises, as I stepped in the front door. I sighed, nervous yet was ready to face him. I cleared my throat as I held the door knob, swinging the door open. Bottles everywhere on the white tiles on the floor. A groan was heard as I entered, liquor entered my nostrils as I inhaled.
"Where are you?"
No answers. I was sure I heard a voice before I entered the house.
"I.....I bought food! L-lets eat"
Foot steps came down the stairs, I sighed as I seen him holding a bottle. In his free hand, a cigerrate. He looked at me, like I did something wrong.
"Tsk, It was better if you aren't here. Looking at you, makes me sick"
I turned away, not minding him talk. I went to grab plates. Our breathing that could only be heard. I faced him once again as I felt him staring at me. I gulped, unaware of what to do next.
We ate in silence. He drank beers whenever he wanted to. He smoked. I looked at him. Not moving an inch. I coughed when he suddenly let out smokes.
"Do you know what are Fathers priority?" i asked, smiling bitterly. He looked up at me. Lazy eyes in front of me. He glared at me, but soon enough he slowly snapped back and said.
"They take care of their children, their wife, family. Sacrificing and loving then no matter what, Jihyo" he said slowly, ending the sentence with my name. I slowly let my smile drop.
"And do you think that you are doing those things, Father?"
