I took in a deep breath and rolled my eyes backwards. Of course no one has a tissue when you need one. I walked up to the mirror and wiped my face making sure there was nothing left on it. My eyes were bloodshot and my voice was hoarse.

“Do you have my money or not?” his words rang in my ear. I turned to face him.

“No.” I laughed as my words slurred across my lips.

“Get out.” He whispered. I rolled my eyes and walked to the door.

“I don’t need you!” I yelled back to him and slammed the door. “I don’t need anyone.” I wobbled towards the closet curb and sat down. I pulled down my sleeves as the cold air danced across my body. Feet closed in behind me and I stood to see four very large men standing behind me.

“Hey pretty lady. Lookin for a good time?” I could smell the alcohol on his breath.

“No.” I started to walk past them but the one closest to me grabbed my arm and pulled my face closer to him.

“Now, ain’t no man go around leavin such a lady out like this. Especially dressed how you are.” His eyes scanned my body. “Come on. Just with me. We can leave these losers behind and have a good time.”

“I said no.” I spat in his face.

“Excuse me?” He raised his eyebrow. “It’s your job to please me hoe.”

“I’m not a fucking prostitute now leave me alone!” I jerked my arm away from him, but he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me back. I tried to squirm my way out, but it was hopeless. He was so much bigger than I was.

“Listen here, I don’t wanna have to hurt you, so give me what I want and I’ll let you go.” I laughed in his face and elbowed his stomach. He let go of me, but looked up and laughed. “You is a stupid girl.” He grabbed me again. His friends smirked behind him.

“Don’t be so happy. You won’t be getting any action if you just watch him.”

“We like to share.” He whispered against my lips. His hand gripped my face tightly as he started to kiss me. I tried to move my face, but he was so much stronger than I was.

“I’m pretty sure she said leave her alone.” A deep voice said. I looked over and saw three boys and two girls standing watching. The large man laughed and pushed me against the ground.

“Whatcha gonna do about it, pretty boy.” He got closer to the boy.

“Well, I’ve got other friends and they know how to fight quite well and well, we aren’t half bad. Plus you’re in a drunken stupor so it’s obviously who will win. You should probably just walk away now.” His accent was thick and you could tell he wasn’t from around here. The four guys walked away and the taller boy walked over and held his hand out to me. “Here, let me help you up.” He smiled at me.

“I don’t need help and I was fine.” I growled. I stood up and wiped off myself off.

“Can I at least walk you home?” he asked. I stared up at him and got lost in his deep green eyes.

“I’m not going home.”

“Then to a friends?”

“No. I’m fine. Goodbye.” I turned to walk away before he grabbed my wrist. I flinched and he looked down. He saw the newly formed scars on my wrist and dropped it. “Just leave me alone.” I said and walked off.

“Harry, just let her go.” This time the accent was Irish. Where do these boys come from?

“Yeah, Harry. She doesn’t want your help.” A girl voice said. I scratched my arm and looked up at the sky. I noticed that my vision was blurred and that I was crying.

“I don’t need anyone.” I said to myself and walked off into the night.

“She’s not okay Niall.” The boy they called Harry said.

“Harry! Are you ready to go?” Another female voice called. I turned to look at him and saw him staring at me.

“Yeah Milan, I’m on my way.” I watched the two boys and the two girls follow him to meet another two boys and girls. After they were out of sight I stumbled to the ground and held my knees close to me. I cuddled close to myself making my jacket cover as much of me as it could.

“I’m fine by myself.” My teeth chattered together
