Chapter 4

Clara's POV:
Oh no! They must be talking about the flash drive we found when we were doing a job for Daniel. Whatever! "Well, where are we gonna go?" I asked. "I-i don't know but we have to figure it out because we had until today to get the job done." Justin said. "How do we know you are not lying?" Sarah asked. "We don't have a way to prove it but you can take our word." Justin said. "We have some money saved up but i doubt that will be enough for food for all four of us and a place that has at least two rooms." I said. "We have some money too but Andrew is probably at our house waiting for us to get back." Carter said. "We are the gang leaders lets think of something." Sarah said. "There is a window leading to the room but its in a second floor." Carter said. "Is there a tree close?" I asked. "Yeah but-" Justin started but i cut him off. "Perfect! We are going to your house." Sarah and i started going up the stairs (they were in a basement if you don't remember). "Aren't you forgetting something?" Carter asked. "Oh right! Sorry." Sarah said. We had forgotten to untie them. We untied them and went upstairs to the room where we keep all the guns and stuff like that. "Wow!" Justin said. "This is-" Carter started but Sarah cut him off. "We know." We grabbed a rope and guns just in case if anything happened. "Lets go." I said and we left to go to their house.

Justin's POV:
We jumped the fence and walked stealthily through the backyard. We were right, Andrew was already there waiting for us. "Lets climb the tree." Clara whispered. "Well no shit Sherlock." Carter replied. Carter and i climbed first. Thank God i always keep the window unlocked. We climbed the tree and we heard a snap. We looked down and Sarah was holding on to the branch for dear life. "Sorry, the branch broke and i almost fell." She whispered. I carefully opened the window trying not to make any noise. We all successfully got in without making a sound. "You play guitar?" Clara asked. "Not anymore." I whispered "Why not?" Sarah asked. "Look its not the time to talk about it." I said. "This isn't over yet." Clara said. "Ill go guard. You look for the money." Carter said. I went inside the closet and looked through the shoe boxes i still had in there. "Bingo!" I whispered. "Found it?" Carter asked. "Yeah, lets go." I said. "Wait! Now that we are here. Take some clothes." Clara said. "Smart thinking." Carter said. "Go look for some of your clothes. Don't make a sound." Sarah said. "I need someone to guard for me. In case Andrew decides to look at our rooms." Carter said. "Ill go. Sarah stay here with Justin." Clara said. Carter and Clara left and it was just me and Sarah. Not awkward at all... Notice the sarcasm.

Carter's POV:
Me and Clara went in my room to look for some clothes. I went inside and took a bag that was under my bed. I was only gonna take like a weeks worth of clothes. We didn't want them to notice that we were gone. "Do you play too?" Clara asked. "I used to." I replied. "Why did you stop?" She asked. "Look Clara i don't want to seem rude but stop getting in other peoples business." I said shoving some shirts in my bag. "Sorry, i was just curious." She apologized. "Ok, I'm done. Lets go back." We went inside the room and Sarah and Justin were about to kiss. "What are you doing?" Clara asked. They quickly backed away. "Uhh... How long were you guys standing there?" Justin asked. "Long enough to know that you two were about to make out." Clara said. "Is somebody there?" A voice came from downstairs. Crap! Andrew must have heard us. We quickly climbed down the tree and jumped the fence. We got in the car and took off. The car ride was silent until Clara said "We are going back to our place. We are gonna pack some of our clothes and we'll be on our way." "Ok." I said.

Sarah's POV:
That was the most awkward car ride i have ever been in. We went home so Clara and i could pack some clothes. "You two go hide in the basement." Clara told them. They nodded and did as she said. Clara and i shared the biggest room. The house was big and had 3 rooms. We slept in the same room because we didn't like being alone. When we went inside the room Clara closed the door behind us. "What the hell were you thinking?" Clara asked me. "I don't know, okay? Everything happened so fast." I said pacing around. "You 2 were gonna kiss. Look Sarah, none of us have time to be in a relationship. We got enough problems." Clara said strictly. "I know, I'm sorry." I said. "We cant trust them yet. At least not that much." Clara said starting to pack. "I don't know what i was thinking. We just met." I said packing also. "The flash drive they were talking about. It must be the one we found." I told Clara. "Shit! You're right. We never saw what was in it." Clara said. "Do you know where it is?" I asked. "Yeah, here!" She said throwing me the flash drive. "What could be in this thats so important?" I asked myself. "If its that important i don't think we should look." Clara said clearly nervous. "Well, I'm taking it." I said. Clara was going to say something when there was someone banging on the front door. We ran to the door and Clara opened it. We both sighed. It was just Robert and Alex. "You...2..are gonna...get it." Alex said panting in between. "Why are you guys so tired." Clara asked. "Maybe if someone didn't pop our tires we wouldn't be so tired." Robert said. "We had to walk all the way here. And we ran like 2 or 3 blocks because a dog started chasing us." Alex continued. "Well sorry that I'm not sorry." Clara said beginning to close the door. Robert put his feet on the door so it wouldn't close. "Well, we didn't walk all the way here only for you. Where are Justin and Carter?" He said. "None of your buisness." I replied. "Actually sweetheart, it kind of is. I believe we made a bet." Alex said. "We don't want any problems so i suggest you leave." Clara said. "Whats the rush?" Alex asked. "The bet is over. You cheated and so did we so will you please leave?" I asked. Carter and Justin got out of the basement and Justin asked. "What bet are you talking about?" Clara face palmed herself and i yelled "i thought we told you guys to stay in the basement." "Did you forget to tie them?" Robert asked laughing. "Shut the fuck up Robert." Clara told him. "I asked a question." Justin said. "It wasn't a real bet." I said. "Thats not what they think." Carter said referring to Alex and Robert. "And how do you know them?" Justin asked. "Well you see its kind of a long story." Clara said. "We have time." Carter said. "Look we have to leave before Daniel comes." I said. "This conversation isn't over." Carter said. We took our bags and started putting them inside the car. "Wait, are you guys leaving with them?" Alex asked. "No kidding." Justin said. "Aren't you guys supposed to-" Robert started but Carter cut him off. "We know what we are doing. Don't tell anybody about this. Not even Andrew." "Why?" Alex asked. "There is no time. We have to go. Goodbye." Justin said and we got in the car and left.

Clara's POV:
"This is crazy." I said. "There is no going back now." Carter said. "Where are we gonna go?" Justin asked. "Somewhere far away from here." Sarah said. "You guys have to clear up the argument we had earlier." Carter said. "And you have to explain why you guys don't sing anymore." I said. "Touche my friend." Justin said. "We all have to get along now." Sarah said. "We already do." Carter replied. "Yeah but its because we barely know each other." I said making a turn. "I guess your right." Justin said. "We are gonna get along. Just get along. I don't want to be an aunt at 17" i said chuckling. "I hate you." Sarah said blushing. "You LOVE me." I said emphasizing the word love. "Whatever floats your boat." Sarah said. "Hey!!" I yelled making a puppy face. Carter and Justin started laughing. "You 2 are so cute." Carter said laughing but soon stopped when he realized what he said. "Ooooooooo" Justin said poking Carter. "Hey! At least i wasn't almost making out with one of them." Carter yelled at Justin. "We didn't kiss." Justin told Carter. "Only because Clara and i walked in before you could." Carter said. Justin just sighed and whispered. "You're gonna get it." Sarah and i just giggled at they're childish discussion.
