Chapter 6

Clara's POV:
We finished cleaning the house around 6 o'clock. It was pretty late and the house was cleaner. We still had to settle in and buy food. Because obviously the food that was left was around 1 or 2 years old. We left to go buy food and when we were putting the groceries away i remembered i had left one of the bags inside the store accidentally. "Guys, i left a bag. Im gonna go get it." I said. "Okay, don't take too long." Carter said putting the last bags inside the car. I went inside the store and took the bag. "Okay, lets go." I said to myself. I was walking towards the parking when i heard a noise. I turned around and there was nobody there. I just shook it off and continued walking. I heard the noise again. Its similar to the noise of twigs snapping. I turned around and asked "Is somebody there?" When i was about to turn around someone put a cloth on top of my mouth. I started feeling loopy and sleepy. In a matter of seconds everything turned dark.

Carter's POV:
"Its been 10 minutes since Clara left. I don't think it would take that long to look for a bag." I said getting a bit nervous. "You're right. Lets go check." Sarah said. Wow! I cant believe a girl is braver than me. We went inside the store and looked around. We couldn't find her so we decided to ask the cashier if she had come back for the bag. "Yes, its been around 10 minutes since she came for the bag." "Did you see her with anyone?" Justin asked the lady. "I thought i saw someone hugging her or carrying her." She replied. Man, this lady is stupid. Who randomly carries a girl in a parking lot? "Well, thank you." Sarah said and we left. "They must have taken her. We have to find her! She is the only person i have left! I cant loose her too!" Sarah yelled. You could tell she was scared. I don't blame her. I was scared but i just hid it better.
"Lets go back home so we can think." Justin said. "Are you crazy?! I cant sit knowing my best friend is missing!" Sarah yelled. "Sarah i know you're scared, we are too but we have to think." I said trying to calm her down. "You don't understand. She is like my sister! I love her so much! I cant let her go through this alone. If they took her well then they have to take me too." Sarah said starting to cry. "Don't say that. They aren't gonna take you." Justin told Sarah. "I cant live without her. She is my half. She helped me through rough times. If something happens to her who is gonna help me?" Sarah said crying. "WE are gonna help you. We are family now. Nothing is going to happen to her, i promise you." I said. "Don't make promises you cant keep." Sarah whispered. She was right. I couldn't promise her anything. "Lets go." Justin said getting in the car. He sat in the back comforting Sarah while i drove back home. "Carter? Are you crying?" Sarah asked. I didn't notice until now that i was. I wiped the tears and sniffled. The rest of the ride was silent.

Sarah's POV:
Half an hour had passed since we got home and we still didn't know who took Clara. "God damn it! Im getting impatient." I complained. "There is only one person but... Its impossible." Justin said. "Well, its the best we've got. So who is it?" I asked. "Jessica..." Carter and Justin both said at the same time looking at each other. "Who is she?" I asked. "She used to be in the gang but she took off and made her own." Justin said. "Well, what could she possibly want from us?" I asked obviously confused. "The flash drive." Carter replied coldly. "What does that even have thats so important?" I asked. "Look lets stop asking questions and lets go find Clara." Justin said standing up. "Sorry." I whispered. "I have to go to the bathroom real fast." Before they could say anything i ran upstairs to my room and scurried through my bag for the flash drive remembering that i had taken it.
**Flashback**
"You 2 were gonna kiss. Look Sarah, none of us have time to be in a relationship. We got enough problems." Clara said strictly. "I know, I'm sorry." I said. "We cant trust them yet. At least not that much." Clara said starting to pack. "I don't know what i was thinking. We just met." I said packing also. "The flash drive they were talking about. It must be the one we found." I told Clara. "Shit! You're right. We never saw what was in it." Clara said. "Do you know where it is?" I asked. "Yeah, here!" She said throwing me the flash drive. "What could be in this thats so important?" I asked myself. "If its that important i don't think we should look." Clara said clearly nervous. "Well, I'm taking it." I said. Clara was going to say something when there was someone banging on the front door.
**Flashback over**
"You have caused us so much problems." I said to the flash drive. Yes i talk to myself. "Who are you talking to?" Justin asked behind me. "Nobody. Just myself." I said turning around and putting the flash drive in my back pocket. "Oh, well we have to go." Justin said. I don't think he bought it but he must have ignored it. Lets hope he did.

Justin's POV:
Well, that was weird. Whatever! Its probably nothing. We left to got to Jessica's house to look for Clara. Obviously we brought some guns. I mean, we are going to another gangs territory, they are obviously gonna take it really badly. Might as well come prepared for anything. Jessica used to be the gang leader but when me and Carter got in the gang she was replaced by us. That's part of the reason why she left. And also why she hates us. Probably why she took Clara. "I hope she is with that Jessica girl you guys were talking about." Sarah said. "Trust me, she is the last person you want Clara to be with." Carter replied. "Is she that bad?" Sarah asked. "You have no idea." I said. "Why does this always happen to us?" Sarah asked. It was more to herself than us. "She will do anything to hurt us." Carter said. "And how will kidnapping Clara hurt you guys?" Sarah asked. "Because we care. We care about her. A lot." Carter replied. "Spill." Sarah said. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "C'mon! Its obvious you like her." Sarah said. "Maybe..." Carter whispered. "Ooooooo. Carter and Clara sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G" Sarah sung and i joined in. "Okay! Thats enough. No need to rub it in." Carter said getting annoyed. "Well, I'm sure she likes you too." I said. "Lets hope so." Carter said as if to ensure himself.

Clara's POV:
I woke up in a dark room. I was tied up in a chair and i had a rag tied to my mouth so i couldn't speak. I looked around searching for a way to escape. The sad part, there was no way. It was 4 walls and a door. There was a desk that had a little fan and a chair plus the one i am sitting in. I tried getting my hands loose but i only cut my wrists. I wonder if Sarah, Justin and Carter noticed i was gone. How long has it been since they took me? My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps getting closer to the door. I heard the sound of keys and the door unlocking. I wanted to know so bad who took me but i was also scared of who it might be. The door opened revealing a female. I would say in her 20 or so. "Look who finally decided to wake up." She said as she walked over to me and took off the rag in my mouth. As soon as she did i asked "Who are you? What do you want from me?" "Im the one who will ask the questions here." She said sitting on the chair that was behind the desk. "Where is it?!" I jumped at her sudden yelling. "Where.Is.It?!" She asked again this time taking short pauses. "I-i don't know what you're talking about." I said. "Of course you know what I'm talking about!" She yelled. "I don't!" I yelled back. My head moved suddenly to the side and my cheek burned. She had slapped me. "Don't talk to me like that!" She yelled at me. "I know they have it! So why don't you tell me where it is and we can get this over with!" She yelled once more. "Can you speak clearly because i don't understand anything you're saying." I replied. "Where is the fucking flash drive! You know they have it!" She yelled at me. "I don't know and i don't care where the fucking flash drive is." I said. "Don't act stupid. You know where it is." She said. "How can you be so sure i know?" I asked. "Because....if you're with them you must know." She declared. "You are wrong. Because i don't know where it is." I said. "You are not leaving until you tell me." She said getting really close to my face. "Guess I'm not leaving." I replied. "Guess you're not." She said and with that she left. Guess its gonna be a while before i leave...if i leave.

A/N:
I suggest that you read chapters 3 through 5 again. I did some updates and fixed a couple of stuff that i wanted to change. I wanted to write something but i forgot so i fixed it now. So remember read chapters 3, 4, and 5 again (and obviously 6). Hope you enjoyed chapter 6.
