Pontus rose out of the water. He looked at the disaster the ocean was in. He was the primordial of the sea. That upstart Poseidon had let his domain get polluted badly. He needed a change. What better than to get a new god of the sea but even more powerful. He thought that he should use one of Poseidon children that is mad at him. Who better than his favorite child, I should go ask Thalassa.
