pour me a cup of coffee,
caramel swirls and chocolate chips.
with a drop of bacardi,
I can taste the darkness on my lips.
drip drip dripping in black rain,
feeling the adrenaline in my veins.
I have nothing left to gain,
from the pain I've caused.
getting left there in a rainstorm,
I just want the rain to stay paused,
but it never works out that way.
I just wanna stay here thinking of may.
thinking of summer nights,
tanning by the pool with warm sunlight.
letting it shine on my skin,
sneaking out at night,
to see where the stars fall,
into place.
waiting for the call,
from the one you still love.
