(I'm not as familiar with stone ocean as I am with the other parts so most of my refrence is from a summary, and the jjba Wiki for some reason doesn't have a part 6 summary anymore it's... inconvenient)

Kars enters the courtyard

there he sees Jolyne along with two other Girls

Kars:"OI JOLYNE!!!"

Jolyne:"wait... KARS?!"

they run to eachother doing their secret handshake

which is literally just a Highfive and a clap

give them a break, they made it up when Jolyne was 8 and Kars was 10,000 but had the mind of a 6 year old

they then realize that their supposed to be Guard and Prisoner and pretend Kars is scolding them about the importance of brushing your teeth or something

Ermes:"Who's this Jolyne?"

Jolyne:"A Childhood friend."

Ermes:"He's kinda hot."

Jolyne:"Back off Ermes! Mentally he's... uh.... wow! you're mentally 13 years old."

she introduces her friends as Ermes Costelleo and Foo Fighters

Kars:"So you're saying you're a colony of Plankton that has a stand?"

F.F:"Yes..."

Kars:"Jolyne, can I keep her?"

Jolyne:"I Dunno... hey what are you doing here anyway?"

Kars:"Your Dad left a message for me encase something happened to him."

Jolyne:"I.... see..... OH SHIT! Speaking of my dad."

she motions for Ermes to hand Kars a Disk

Jolyne:"This has my Fathers Stand, get it to the speedwagon foundation after your shift is over."

Kars:"You got it."

Jolyne:"Good, now We're going to play some catch, guess you can't play due to being a Guard though..."

as they play ball they almost hit an inmate in the head but it is stopped inches away from her

just as Jolyne is about to apologize she is elbowed in the side

at that moment Kars's Maternal instincts activate as he grabs the lady and slams her into the ground

Guards begin to surround them

Kars:"This Inmate just tried to start a fight!"

Officer:"Really? that's 3 days in the Box for you."

Officer Presley:"Good work son, never seen someone run so fast to ground slam someone with that much force, you're a natural!"

Kars:"Glad to be good at my Job... uh... sir."

the Woman is brought to the box for Isolation

Jolyne:"Wow.... you just abused your power for me..."

Kars:"I Know right?"

Ermes:"So... we have the toughest Guard in the prison on our side? why not just escape?"
