My Shorty (Levi X Reader) AOT

I feel it in my bones

"Try not to walk clustered together, we'll stand out" Levi said as we walked through Trost. "Eren and Historia, just act normal."

"Why's the royal flag hanging everywhere?" Connie asked.

"Today must be the anniversary of the king's coronation. Once a year they hand out extra rations to celebrate it" Sasha said.

"That's probably why you remember it" I said to her.

"Can I have your attention please" an MP on a stage said. "King Fritz has heard of the hardships in Trost. He is donating the royal families reserves. Form a line, there's plenty to go around." I could hear cries of joy coming from the crowd below him.

"All that food and he's just giving it away?" Sasha said.

"It's not as if he needs it all. Easier to control people when they're not starving." Levi said while he led us away. We walked for a bit when Levi suddenly stopped. "Behind us, look out!"

"Uh Armi-. I mean Krista and Eren!" Sasha yelled. "Those bastards are running off with them!" Then Mikasa ran after the carriage that took Armin and Jean. I followed her and looked into a window. I saw Jean and Armin tied to chairs while a man touched Armin. We both moved when Jean saw us and went to a roof where Levi was waiting.

"How's everything going inside?" He asked.

"If we wait very much longer they'll see through Armin's disguise." She replied. "He's getting pawed at"

"I see." He replied.

"How's your leg? Any better?" She asked him. I looked over to him.

"It's okay for you to go out injured but not me?" I said.

"We're not doing this now. I can move well enough, now then did you notice? These kidnappers are obviously rank amateurs. Why wouldn't they use professionals for a job like this? You can handle the rest on your own, I'm gonna make my way to Eren. Come meet up with me when you're done taking out the trash here." He said.

"Yes sir" she said.

"There's one more thing you should know, just in case. Tell Armin and the others too." He said. He explained it before leaving to go to Eren. I followed him on foot so we could keep an eye on each other. Plus it meant if something happened to him I could keep an eye on Eren with people being suspicious of me.

The carriage with Historia and Eren was stopped by a crowd. I saw Levi land next to the girl who warned us earlier. They were on a roof nearby while I was in the crowd, trying to help the carriage through. I looked back at Levi for a second when I saw a person behind the opposite side of the roof, one of Hanjis men. I got ready to fly after them incase anything happened. I watched as the girl was killed by someone behind her. I watch Levi go behind a chimney as another man killed one of Hanjis men.

I watched as his body fell in front of a little girl and her mother. I ran to him and check if he was dead or if I had a chance to heal him. He was dead so I looked back at Levi and saw a man walking towards him. I could see him talking but couldn't hear him.

I saw people flying with their 3DMG gear and saw that they all had the same weapons as the man who killed the girl. I looked back at the carriage and almost followed it when I heard Levi yell "KENNY!". I saw the guy flying upside down over Levi. I watched him throw one of his blades at him but Kenny fired a shot at him. Levi took off his cloak and used it to hide when he moved so the bullet missed him. He ran down the roof and used his 3DMG to fly away. I followed him on foot.

I looked in the direction that the carriage was supposed to be heading and saw that two of Kenny's men following it. I flew up using my 3DMG and followed them. I saw one of them fire their 3DMG gear at it so flew faster. They ripped off the cover and shot Historia. From what I could tell they only knocked her out but it was still bad. Eren grabbed the gun he had but he was also knocked out. The guy who was driving the cart was killed and one of Kenny's men started driving. I was tempted to grow my wings to go faster but before I could I saw Levi chasing it as well. I assumed he would deal with it but saw him get surrounded by 3 of Kenny's men.

He flew away so I couldn't see him. I turned back to the cart and continued following it. None of Kenny's men had attacked me so I guessed that none of them knew whose side I was on. I remembered what Levi said. "We're no longer just fighting Titans. From now on we're fighting people too.". I looked across and saw the rest of the squad. I headed over to them.

"Did you get Levi's message?" I asked Sasha.

"Yeah. You go after him, we'll deal with Eren and Historia" she said. I nodded and flew off to where I last saw him. I landed and ran for a bit, following the trail of bodies. I ran past a bar and saw him fighting Kenny.

"Follow the wagon" I heard Levi yell to Mikasa.

"Right" she replied. I continued to follow it on foot. They were attacking the people around the cart and I was following on foot, trying to stay away from suspicion. I looked ahead of the cart and saw a child in the way. The cart wasn't moving and neither were they. I sped up and pulled the child away just in time.

I looked at the cart and saw Armin kill the second person after he took control of the horses and Jean collapsed. I looked behind him and saw three more people behind him. Levi grabbed Jean and Sasha grabbed Armin. I followed them back and watched as Eren and Historia were taken. Mikasa tried to go after them but Levi stopped her.

"Let them go, we're running out of fumes" he said.

"NO" She yelled, trying to fight back. "EREN!"
