Maddy and I got to my house around 2am. Tomorrow was Wednesday so we quickly slipped on our pajamas and went right to bed. Since Maddy's parents aren't really around, she decided to stay over my place for a while.

beep beep beep

It was my alarm, it was 6am, which means we only had 4 hours of sleep.

"Maddy, Maddy wake up" I whispered in her ear.

"5 more minutes" She groaned while turning to the other side.

Wait. Haven't you noticed that the guy that was texting me hasn't texted me in a long time now, yay.

"No Maddy! We gotta get dressed nice today, maybe that guy named- oh right James. Maybe he goes to the same school like we do"

"Oh my god!" She groaned while getting up.

We got there almost late, it was 7:40 and the tardy bell was at 7:50am.

*skipping to lunch*

"Omg look who's over there" whispered Maddy in my ear.

"Who?" I whispered back, looking around.

Do you think it was Steven?

Well, no. It was James oh my god he's so cute but- you know what from now on Steven is nothing to me.

"Hey James!" I said sarcastically. Oh look, Steven was right in the cafeteria just staring at me. Oh my god!! That's kinda annoying and cute at the same time to be honest.

"Hey Marilyn!" James said.

"Oh my god that guy I met at the party is over there bye!" Maddy said leaving quickly.

"Okay?" I said chuckling.

"I love your laugh" said James.

"Aha thank you" I said turning around & blushing, Steven actually saw me blush and he put the 'jealous' face. Oh my god isn't he in love with Caroline or something?

"So" James said.

"Yeah" I replied.

"Um. I kinda wanna ask you something" James said nervously.

"Yeahh what's wrong?"

"Do you want to go out to dinner tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah sure pick me up at 8pm haha I gots to go now bye!" I said looking for Maddy.

"I'll text you!" He shouted.

"Okay!" I shouted back.

James POV:

So tonight Im going to dinner with Marilyn, since Steven asked me to. Huh, I wonder what's he planning.

But honestly I think she's cute, but Steven still likes her and she probably does too.

"Omg Maddy guess what!"

"What?"

"James asked me to dinner!"

"Really!? He's cuter than Steven tbh"

"Haha" I said sarcastically.

"What?"

"Neverminddd"

"Sooo can I sleep over your house today again? Please!" Maddy asked.

"Well duh bff!" I said chuckling.

"Yeah thank you very much!" She said.

"Your welcome, now I gotta go see you after school!" I shouted while leaving.
