It's no secret Isadora Smackle is a certified genius (maybe even more of a genius than Mr. Farkle Minkus himself).

Her family knows it, her friends know it, even NASA knows it! So the ratio of things she understood perfectly to the things she didn't understand were tilted in favour of what she did understand. Subjects such as; Physics, Science, Math and Biology were just of the things that came just as easy as breathing.

The subject of love on the other hand... well that's always puzzled her more than any advanced algebraic equation ever could.

Don't get the facts mixed up, in fact compared to the past, Smackle's understanding on love and feelings grew exponentially. Most people might think she's been able to understand love with the help of her boyfriend Farkle, along with the rest of her friends. For the most part, their assumptions would be correct. She's been able to learn about the social aspects of life that she'd always struggled with due to her Asperger's. But to truly understand love, the raven-haired genius had uncovered a simpler truth.

All she really has to do is take a look at Riley and Maya a.k.a "the two most oblivious dum-dums" Smackle's ever met.

The raven-haired genius loves the two, they were the first (and last) female friends she's ever made. When she met them at the seventh-grade debate, she will admit she was a little intimidated by their physical appearances. Now, despite the fact that she's known them for a few years now, that fact hasn't really changed... in some cases.

Riley's still the wide-eyed optimistic ball of sunshine everyone adores. The other girl's silky long brown hair, soft brown doe eyes, glowing tan skin and developing curves have attracted many of the male species to her. Unfortunately for the admiring suitors, the tall brunette's boyfriend has promptly scared them off every time. "Poor, poor Lucas. Obliviousness just isn't a good look for him... even though everything else is." Smackle couldn't help but grin at that thought.

To put it simply, Riley's become one of the lady genius' most revered confidantes. Whenever she needs advice on Farkle or something of the like, the bubbly brunette is always willing to lend a hand. Especially with her chosen extra curricular's of Social Justice Club and even Gender Studies (nobody will say it but hopefully it jump starts something in that sunshine-y brain of her)

Then there's Maya Hunter- local artistic prodigy and the school's new "enigma/badass." She's joined the Art Club (to nobody's shock or surprise) and even became a part time Glee member (a recent choice, but surprising nonetheless.)

The bespectacled girl's initial hypothesis from the time she first met them, is that despite Maya being Riley's exact opposite; that's why they work so well together. Evidently like always, Smackle has yet to be proven wrong. Her other female best friend is the confident, go-with-the flow 'rebel' type, and from what she's observed, it's attracted even more suitors then Riley. Despite her being so involved (and in love) with Farkle, it's not like the female genius could really blame them...

Even when Smackle first met Maya, the blonde had been incredibly intriguing to her. She could tell that her height was basically the only thing small about her. Her vivacious personality lit up the whole room and everyone looked to her when she spoke. The blonde's witty intelligence and ability to render people speechless was a welcome bonus as well and told her that she's also a lot smarter than she lets on. However if you get on the petite blonde's bad side... well just pray you never do.

For Isadora, the characteristic she admires most about her blonde friend is her heart of gold (which she'll deny until the end of the Earth). That girl would walk through fire just to save her friends; and Smackle's just privileged enough to be in the blue-eyed girls inner circle.
