Joel left a few minutes ago to go get Winifred and Willow. I am still here holding Marlee. She starts crying and complaing that her tummy hurts. I sigh and pet her hair. "I know princess, I know."
I get up and grab my phone rocking Marlee, I grab it and call Joel.
"Hey baby" he answers. "Hey Joel can you get some medicine for her please." I ask and kiss the top of Marlee's head. "Of course I can, is she any better?" He asks. I was about to say no when Marlee starts screaming and crying. "I take that as a no, I'm pulling into the school now I will get the medicine soon. I love you girls so much." He says kind of worried. "We love you Joel, bye." I hang up.
I shush Marlee and walk to her room. I lay her down on her bed and kiss her forehead to see how bad she is burning up. It was pretty bad. I start undressing her, making sure I don't hurt her. I cover her up and walk into the bathroom and start a bath adding bubbles.
I walk back in and Marlee is out of bed. I walk to her dresser and ger some pajamas for her.

She walks over to me and clings to my leg. I grab her and walk to the bathroom and sit her in the tub. I start washing her body.
I hear the front door open and girls giggling. I hear Joel call my name and I call back to him. Then the door open and in come Joel. He looks at me then Marlee. He kneels down and pets Marlees hair and starts rubbing shampoo in it.
I smile at him and kiss his cheek. "I better make dinner soon." I say getting up. "No I'll do it Princess, you take care of her." He stands up and kisses me. I immediately kiss back and smile. He smiles and walks out. I rinse the shampoo out of Marlee's hair.
I pick her up and dry her off. I sit on the toilet seat and hold her with the towel around her. She lays her head on my chest. I finish drying her off and I blow dry her hair and get her dressed. I go into her room and I lay her in her bed, tucking her in.
I walk to the kitchen and see the twins working on their homework and Joel is making dinner. I walk to the girls and kiss their heads. Willy smiles at me and Wini smiles slightly.
I walk over to Joel and hug him from behind.
"Hi baby" he whispers. I smile, I love hearing his voice it is so calming to me.
"Hi Joel. Dinner almost done?" I ask peeking over his shoulder. He nods and kisses my cheek.
I go and set the table for my beautiful family, I couldn't be more happy with anyone else. They complete me.
