Robyn didn't do one night stands.

She was freshly divorced and he was about 10 years younger.

She never had a one night stand before.

They just met, she knew his name for no more than two hours.

Very enjoyable two hours.

It was really late so she let him take her home, as the ride neared its end, she began to feel more and more nervous.

Maybe a little excited too.

Robyn knew that she should just stop thinking, just enjoy these last few intoxicating moments with this young man, but she was already thinking ahead to how she'd say goodbye.

What she'd do.

As these questions churned in her mind, making her incapable of sustained intelligent conversation their talking fell off a bit. They exchanged a few stilted comments about his and hers music taste.

Finally they pulled up in front of her apartment building, and she turned to face him with a sigh.

"Well" she said reluctantly "this is me"

"Here, huh?" he raised a thick eyebrow.

"Yeah" she replied, not really knowing what else to say.

They looked at each other for a few moments, and Robyn opened her mouth, but the words just wouldn't come out of her.

"Robyn" Aubrey said in his velvet voice.

She liked him. She was attracted to him.

"What?" she whispered back, a feeling of apprehension surging through her chest.

"This is the part where you invite me in" he said.

"Wh-What?" she said sillily, trying to process his meaning. She was staring at his mouth and feeling more than a little lightheaded.

Aubrey laid his large hand over her exposed knee, and she felt a surge of arousal that almost made her gasp out loud.

She was gone. Just gone.

"Invite me in babygirl" he repeated firmly.

Babygirl? Oh, she liked that.

Robyn swallowed "Would you... " she started "You, you wanna come in for a minute?" she asked finally.

"Sure" he said and smiled at her showing his pearly white teeth.

With wide eyes she immediately turned away from him, opened the car door and stepped out.

She walked up to her door fast, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Damn, Robyn" Aubrey said behind her "Your place is great."

"Yeah, um, I'm living here since my divorce" she said, heading to the elevator and sliding a card through its metal panel.
