Rewrite The Stars - Bryce Hall

A/N: This is going to a hard topic to read about. It is about losing a family loved one. This is based around my experience about loosing my father. I hope you enjoy. Sorry if its sad tho.

( Flash Back to 6th grade)

" Honey can you go and get me a pair of sunglasses with your sister and brother. Just please stay together " My father asked smiling at me.

" Ok Dad" I smiled as we headed off towards the store across the street from our small home. 

As we returned everything changed, changed for the worse.

As i came up to the house I saw my mother in my house doing CPR on my father on the floor. He was laying there not breathing. Looking lifeless. Turning blue.

Me and my younger brother were crying as my oldest sister called 911. 

Soon we were all rushed towards our aunts house so we didn't need to see everything going on.

About 30 minutes later my mom came to get us looking very upset.

We all hugged her after she told us the most heartbreaking thing ever. 

" I'm sorry guys. Daddy didn't make it. He passed away".

Me and my sister broke down instantly into tears. My brother was very upset but tried to keep strong for me, my sister and my mom. 

We all sat there crying for the next hour. It was something that was very hard to understand.

My family had to call our whole family the next day. We tried to help but we all ended up crying. 

My mom, me, my little brother and my older sister who is a year older slept in the living room that night.

We needed to stay together

My father had gout, had 8 heart attacks and 2 triple by passes, a toe amputation, had diabetes and had so many medications to take it was crazy. 

Only thing we knew that was good about this situation all long was we knew he was sick and in pain, he was no longer having to go day by day knowing he was in pain.

Also knowing it was mother's day he died my mom said " We got him in the morning and daddy saw grandma in the afternoon.

" Blaire, Blaire wake up" I heard a voice say shaking me.

I woke up and saw Bryce looking at me with worried eyes.

I just hugged him tight, him returning it and said " was it your dad" softly.

I just nodded yes and hugged him. 

" Don't worry, Now we are rewriting the stars" He whispers as he rubs my newly pregnant belly. 

" I love you Bryce" I said with a soft smile

" I love you too honey" He smiles.
