Soldier - Ryland Storms

A/N: This is about heart attacks and how someone fights and strive before recovering.

~~~ Flash Back ~~~~~~

" Ryland stop" I said as we were hanging out watching a movie before it ended up with him ticking me. 

My heart started hurting like crazy. My arms where sore and I said " Ryland I need to go to the hospital. Now" while taking some Aspirin.

When we arrived I fainted and all i could hear was screaming.

~~~~ Current Time ~~~

I woke up and noticed I was in a hospital bed and saw that my friends and Ryland where sitting in my room. 

I said weakly " Ryland".

He looked over at me before he instantly stood up and came over and sat on the bed next to me.

" I'm so glad you are ok, Charli and Dixie went to go get you some water and let the doctor know you are awake now" He said pushing some hair out of my face.

" What happened" I said looking at him right in his eyes so he can't lie to me.

" You had a heart attack, they did a triple by pass on you with permission of your parents" He said.

" H-Heart Attack" I said shocked.

" Yes. They said that your recovery process will be hard, you will have to relearn to walk. It will be hard but I'll be here the whole time" Ryland said taking my hand and holding it.

I smiled at him " I wanna try now"

" Thats very unwise" The doctor said walking into the room before continuing by saying "  It could be up to 3 weeks before walking again would be a good idea"

We talked with the doctor and this was gonna be a long road to recovery.

------ Skip 3 weeks ----

Ryland helped me up again so we could go for a small walk to the room where I meet my recovery doctor to help me learn to go up and down stairs.

Ryland has been here the whole time. Hasn't left once but to go shower, get food or visit family or go home to sleep. He's really been a help.

" What you thinking about" Ryland said snapping me out of my thoughts.

" You" I blurted out without thinking which ended up with me blushing.

" Me" he said giving me the curious look.

" You've been here all along, you really didn't have too be. We aren't dating or anything" I said looking at the floor.

" Doesn't mean I don't want us too date" he replied back holding my arm tighter cause my legs went wobbly for a second.

" Ryland what exactly are you saying" I asked looking at him as we sat down in the room waiting for my doctor.

" Will you be my girlfriend" He said smiling at me.

" Yes" I smiled.

" Ah you're here" The doctor said smiling at us so I know exactly she heard what happened
