The sunlight hit his eyes, well eye sockets, causing the skeleton to wake up. This has to be the warmest day Snowdin has had all year, mainly because it snowed almost all year, nobody knows why; but that's just what happens. Pretty sure that's how the town got its name but you can’t be too sure. Anyways, Sans stubbled out of his bed gaining balance after wobbling around a few times. He headed to his closet and slid his hoodie on, and his socks before deciding to just wear his bunny slippers; that monster kid got him for christmas last year. The dull skeleton couldn’t hear his brother messing around in the kitchen; was it too early or too late to wake up? Sans just shook his head as that isn’t the biggest thing to worry about at the moment, he still had this locket to offer monster kid as an apology, so he started to leave his room and actually leave the house.

Everyone seemed to be taking advantage of the fact it's really warm outside, having their kids play outside; running and just chilling by their houses eating ice cream. Or whatever kids do, it's not like everyone had the chance to be a kid so not everyone knows what people do during these times. Sans walked to the exit of the ruins, monster kid was nowhere to be found so he just went alone this time; he was probably hanging out with the other kids so he didn’t worry too much.

A child could be found following skipping past the skeleton, seeming to not notice Sans at all. Let’s just say this encounter definitely woke Sans up from his little nap, causing him to jump up from the ground; his ultra instinct was to hide behind the forest trees as soon as the child turned around. Sans creeped around cautiously, quickly hiding behind trees if the human turned around; finally finding the right time to approach the kid.

The kid stopped in its tracks, turning around as they could hear something going on behind them. The small monster walked slowly to the human, holding his hand out for the kid to take and shake. The human slowly went to shake his hand; but retracted it as they didn’t seem to trust this weird skeleton who just happened to  want to shake hands. “C’mon kiddo, don’t you know it's rude to not greet your new friend?,” Sans teased, keeping his hand out; widening his smile if possible. The human giggled, and ended up shaking his hand only to hear dreadful farting sounds coming from the person in front of them. The dull skeleton howled with laughter, throwing his head back and his head; the whoopie cushion being tied to his hand finally revealing itself. The human follows up with a small chuckle, but then follows the dramatic laughter with the skeleton.

Finally Sans spoke up, after just five minutes of pure laughter from both, “I’m Sans, Sans the skeleton.” The human just smiled, waving. They don't really like to talk all that much, but they muttered their name quietly “My name's Frisk”.

Frisk played with their sleeves, letting Sans ramble about the underground; mostly about his brother and what his life long goal is. “His name is Papyrus AND HE TALKS LIKE THIS!” The small monster attempted at doing an impression of his brother, failing horribly. “Anyways, kiddo, he does these 24 hour training with Undyne, it I never see him as much as I used to..”

Sans was found looking down at the floor, Frisk looking utterly concerned so in instinct they took the skeletons boney hand out of pure comfort. “Heh, thanks kid.” he spoke with a rough tone. They walked like this until they stumbled across Papyrus, or almost. “Quick! Behind that conveniently-shaped lamp,” Sans pointed to the lamp, and Frisk smoothly hid behind it.

“SANS YOU LAZY BONES! WHY AREN'T YOU DOING YOUR JOB! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON PATROL, WATCHING FOR HUMANS!,” Papyrus stomps near his brother, towering over him; ‘wow, even when he's angry it's c- it's um. It's hard to take him seriously!’ Sans thought restlessly, his face turning somewhat blue. “Chill out, bro, I was just taking my break, y'know. Lunch,” the smaller one played it off normally, backing up from his brother. “SANS IT IS ALMOST SIX O'CLOCK! YOUR LUNCH BREAK WAS HOURS AGO! GET BACK TO WORK!” And with that Papyrus stormed off, probably to set some puzzle up.
