“Why blame ME! When you were the one who killed them! I was merely behind you the whole time, as a partner, and-and you blame me for the mess YOU caused? Despicable, I tell you! DESPICABLE!” The human fell down on their knees, blackness filling their eyes as a creepy grin appeared behind them, the human sulking on the ground being, showing off the same menacing look as the weird silhouette behind them, as they looked up. Such a person would give anyone normal, chills, but Frisk stood their ground, knife in hand. Blood from that stupid skeleton dripping on the ground as they leed a trail of blood to Asgore’s castle; killing who Frisk thought was on their side the whole time. But hey, it's kill or be killed in this world. And that pesky plant did nothing but scour behind them the whole time, making them do all the dirty work. With one swift swipe, Frisk barely touched the other human before a hologram peered behind them “999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999,” as the one with a green sweater tried to stand up, and the smile completely wiped off of their face they only had a few more words to say. “Now i see why i should’ve left you alone, y-you’re going to destroy the entire world..” Chara struggled to get up, but managed as they held the small wound visibly growing as dirty blood dripped down the black void, or room. Alas staining the others hand and sweatshirt. “I had a dream like that once, I thought I was the strongest and the only way to prove that to the underground was to kill.. And the more I killed the more I was strained from existence.. Even though i did not kill much, as i was the newly found royalty, it still drove me mad. So much so I almost killed my so-called brother..” Stepping closer, Chara stumbled but looked up with such a familiar face.. “B-b-ut the reset button was there for a reason, eh? As much as i wanted to start over, I didn't.. Because I knew one person would.. They’ll do the right thing..” Memories of each kill flooded Chara’s mind, and as they held their arm they gave a deadpan expression. “Guess i was wrong.. I really should’ve made things right, huh? Knowing another human- no monster- NO, WHATEVER YOU ARE” A hint of Undyne's voice came out, those awful yet pleasurable memories coming back to the last fallen human.

With a few more steps, Chara collapsed into Frisk’s embrace, as it was a mere instinct to catch them. “But, i  must say..following you made me a different person.. A BETTER PERSON.. and with that..It was a pleasure working with you, partner..” And just like that Chara’s body faded off, multiple white soul’s turning upside down and shattering. Blinding Frisk as instead of a black void it was now white, it was all over. “NO! NO CHARA COME BACK! IM-IM SORRY! I’LL MAKE IT ALL BETTER I PROMISE, JUST LET ME TAKE IT ALL BACK!” Frisk cried out, and they let the knife go, it fading out as well. A black mist whirled around , and out of nowhere, a button highlighted orange with the word “RESET” on it. Frisk looked up, sniffling as their dirty tears ran down their face, their tears were red.. As everything was with them. The last human immediately stood up, and pressed the button hard. But when it didn’t work, they started freaking out. “W-w-w-why?! I-i-i promise everything will be alright! This timeline doesn’t have to exist anymore if you just LET ME RESET!” Imitating Chara, they fell on their knees with a dirty, bloody hand that stayed on the reset button. “J-j-just.. Please.. Paps, Undyne, Alphys, Monster kid, Mettaton, Asgore, Toriel, SANS! ANY OTHER SMALL MONSTERS I’VE HURT! I’M SORRY!” And like that Frisk began fading, as the reset button glew yellow. The save point noise filling the void.  A small, yet deep field of flowers covered the ground, as Frisk looked over before jumping at a familiar voice. A single tear ran down their face, as they continued on..

Frisk jumped, their breathing hitched and heart racing to realize they were back in this timeline, safe and sound in the skeleton’s house. Although it feels as if it was just a minute ago they were standing next to Chara, well technically they were because of the dream, but i think you know what they mean..The human looked outside, it being pitch black because it was probably 3-4 in the morning. The fallen human pressed their hand on their chest, murmuring certain words that could make people curious, trying to look for answers. “I promise i’ll make it all better.. For you, Chara. I’ll be the one who makes everything right when you couldn’t and then you can live in peace, knowing SOMEONE DID THE RIGHT THING.” And with that, Frisk stayed up shivering with fear, knowing one mess up and they’ll have to reset once again, although that won’t be easy.. They’ll just look like a fool pleading for forgiveness on the stale, nasty floor. The lost soul, preying at the human’s side, but as the wispy ghost they were, nothing went through besides the cold air suddenly hitting Frisk’s skin. Quickly they looked around, hair covering their permanently closed eyes (yet somehow can still see??) as it moved sporadically while searching. For a split second, the human saw a familiar face, but quickly it faded away. “Chara? Is that- no-” one shake of the head and the face was gone from Frisk’s mind.
