I can't focus in any of my classes anymore. I have no idea what's going on and it scares me. I've been experiencing something...strange. It's different. I'm unaware of whether it's a good thing or not, but either way, it's not going away any time soon.

"Todoroki? Todoroki! Hey!"

I flinch. He's standing in front of my desk, vigorously waving his hand in front of my eyes.

"Oh...sorry, Midoriya, I guess I zoned out," I mumble to him. He draws his hand back and his eyes light up.

"That's fine. I understand. Class was kind of stressful today, you should probably get some rest. I'll go by myself if you need," he says, with a reassuring smile.

"No. It's fine. I'm alright," I tell him.

"Are you sure? You look really tired, have you been getting enough sleep?"

He places a hand on my cheek tenderly and strokes beneath my right eye with his thumb. I feel my face flush a little at his touch. I have no idea why, but my cheeks get warm like this whenever I come into physical contact with him. It's only him. It's only Midoriya.

"Yes, well...I suppose it has been a bit since I slept, but I don't think there's anything I can do about it," I respond, leaning my head into his hand.

Midoriya's face turns a bit red when I do this and he covers his mouth with his inner elbow. I like seeing him like this. It's...how do I put this...cute...in a way.

"U-u-uhm...well...i-if you say so...geez, you're burning up...whatever, w-we might miss some of it if we wait any longer," he stammers as I place my hand on his. He pulls it away from me swiftly and gives me a shy smile.

"Alright. Let's go then." I stand up, packing my books into my backpack, and smile weakly at him.

Midoriya had invited me to watch a movie with him at a cinema near the school after classes. He suggested that it may be good for me to get out more often. I agreed to go with him so now it's time to leave.

We head to each of our dorms separately to change into casual clothes. I just throw on whatever I see first, which happens to be a black turtleneck and a pair of jeans. I grab my jacket, throw it on, and head down to the common space and text my sister, Fuyumi while I wait for him to finish.

Once he arrives, I can't help but smile. He's wearing a baggy, black sweatshirt with 'All Might' written in white handwriting font across the chest, worn jeans, and a white beanie. Has on white Converse shoes and a bright smile to match them. Pretty standard, but it still makes me feel...warm...to see him outside of his uniform for some reason.

"Hey, Todoroki! You ready to go?" he asks cheerfully.

"Yeah," I mutter back.

I kneel down in front of him and notice that his shoe's untied...of course it is. I bend over further and tie it for him. He's so recklessly childlike sometimes.

"Todoroki...you could've just told me my shoe was untied...I would've tied it myself...you know..."

We make it outside and he skips up ahead of me as I walk in the direction we're meant to go. It's only a couple blocks away, so it doesn't take too long to get there. He's waiting up at the doors for me, smiling wide and innocent. He's so free-spirited and gleeful. I love that about him.

He opens the door for me and jokingly says, "ladies first!"

I laugh. His eyes widen and he smiles wider.

"What?" I ask, tilting my head.

He bites his lower lip and scans the sky for words.

"Nothing, just...I like your laugh...you should do it more often," he remarks, his face slightly reddening.

My face warms up significantly and I rub the back of my neck.

"Thanks, Midoriya."

"No problem!"

I go inside and he follows after me. We walk to concessions and he goes to grab his wallet. That's when I pull out a credit card. My old man's credit card, that is.

"Go to town," I tell him with a smirk forming on my face.

Despite what I said to him, he orders something cheap for the two of us to share, which is a bucket of buttered popcorn and two drinks.

"You don't have to pay for this, I can-"

"You invited me here. It's the least I can do," I interrupt. I give a reassuring smile.

"If you insist," he responds with an unsure look on his face.

I pay and they hand over the food.

Midoriya thanks them, passing my drink over to me and we head to the auditorium. An employee scans our phones which hold online tickets before we enter and we keep moving.

We go and sit down and throughout the movie, Midoriya's trembling. Whether it's with anticipation or fear, I'm unaware. Sometimes he refuses to look at the screen and others he's enraptured. I don't understand what his main interest is, but he's really into this, so I calmly smile and try to concentrate. It's hard, but I'm trying for Midoriya.

When the movie's over, he smiles and asks me what I thought as we leave the auditorium.

"I don't know," I say, glancing away for a second. "I...guess I liked it."

Actually, I spent the entire time focused on how intent and happy Midoriya looked, so I wasn't paying any attention to the film, but I don't want to disappoint him.

"Alright, um...do you want to hang out at my place later?" he asks. I nod and smile.

I scan him from head-to-toe and stare at him for a couple more seconds before he notices.

He turns a little red and his smile weakens.

"Hey, Todoroki?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for coming with me today."

"Of course. I...had fun..."

He gives me a big smile and hugs me absent-mindedly, but once he realizes what he's doing, he lets go. He looks like a fluffy tomato right now.

"I-I-I-I'm s-sorry! I d-didn't mean to do that. I...um..." he stammers frantically, taking a large step back.

"Midoriya..." I mutter, stepping forward.

"Y-yeah?"

I look into his eyes, but he won't look at me, so I wrap my arms around him.

"You don't need to apologize for things like this, Midoriya. It's fine," I reassure him.

He's warm. I don't want to let go of him. I want to stay like this with him. I know I can't though so I let go after maybe a little under 30 seconds.

"D-do you...just...w-want to just go to my house now?" he asks timidly.

"Sure," I reply with a small grin.

We depart. He's walking beside me with his hands in his pockets. He's looking down, but I can tell how red he is. We walk silently alongside each other until we arrive at his house.

I stare at the door and become uneasy. Maybe even nervous. And upon entry....I feel...odd.
