Hunter's POV (30 Mins Later)
Vic made the food... and hasn't spoken a word, but her phone ringtone makes her sigh before answering it.
(V- Vic ...- responding)
V- Hello
...
V- I'll tell her, but why did you tell me?
...
V- Oh sure, put me on the chopping block. Yes, we do have a plan to get the information.
...
V- Talk to her about that, not me. Anyways have fun with that bye.
(End of conversation)
Weird, to say the least.
Vic gets up and grabs a plate to put the extra food on.
" You don't have to wake Elena up anymore," Vic says, putting the plate beside me.
"Why?"
" Because In 2 minutes, she's gonna come down upset. Why? well, she was woken up by a phone call telling her she has a mission she needs to do tonight. I also have to tell her something that's gonna make it icing on the cake, and in 60 seconds, we'll hear her," Vic said, pointing at the stairs
"fuckin Brayden and his wake up calls and his bossy attitude. Ughhh nadie me deja dormir así, ¿por qué me molesto en intentarlo?"
(nobody lets me sleep in it's like, why do I even bother trying.)
" Technically, we did, but something came up. So want me to tell you what I have to tell you now or later," Vic said.
"Dígame," Elena said, sitting next to me about to dig in the food.
" Hunter has to go with you on the mission because it involves your brothers, and your dad is returning, so he'll most likely be with them," Vic spewed.
" WHAT," we both shouted.
" Look, it's at the club and Hunters the prey... They're looking for him. You are gonna mess with them nothing new we've been doing that already. But the minute your father gets involved, you have to kidnap him. Then rescue Hunter because Brayden wants to make us a group for the mission. So congrats, Hunter, you are now an honorary soldier. Under strict rules, we still keep you under wraps, so the organization doesn't make it permanent. But don't worry, we won't let that happen," Vic explains, making me suddenly sick.
" She's right about that... We won't let that happen. Now the quick crash course plan is this you're gonna go in first about an 1 hour later, I'll go In. The point of this is to lure them in. They'll get close to you, but I'll pull you out before anything happens. By you going in alone, their henchmen will tell them you're there, and they'll come to talk to you. So I want you to go in like nothing happened or will happen. I mean when I say this, Hunter, do not blow this cover. You know them; you've been on jobs with them. You can handle this," She said, looking at me.
" I have to prepare for tonight, and Vic will you let me sleep now wake me up at 15:00 (3 pm) I need some more sleep," She spoke as she got back up to go up the stairs again.
This is gonna be interesting.
A few hours later
" Go get ready," Vic said, standing behind the couch, scaring me.
"Geez, must you sneak up on me?" I asked.
" No, but it's fun to mess with people," she replied, walking away.
Walking up the stairs to the room that Elena and I now share, I see her asleep, which reminded me to wake her up at 15:00. I grabbed some clothes, along with my toiletries, and headed into the bathroom to shower, knowing I was going to have to wake her up.
