"Your staying here for tonight"

Cain said as she grab her office things and started to prepare, it seems like she's off for work.

"No, toodles can't be left alone."

I told her as I sat down the couch still trying to dry my hair with a towel, toodles is my cat he always expect me to come home he just knows that kind of stuff his a smart cat. Cain stop what she was doing and sat infront of me.

"We need to prioritize your safety, and I'm sure toodles will be okay without you just for 1 night."

She calmly explained to me but my gut tells me that I should really go home, I can protect myself. I just nod to what she said wanting to end the conversation so she stand up and grab her bag.

"Don't even try to go out I have people outside guarding this house."

She stop at the front door and said that to me and I just shrug it off.

When I she shut the door I laid my body on the couch looking at the ceiling. I was off my mind for a moment when a text pop on my phone that is on the table, I look at the table and grab my phone.

Want to go out for dinner?

I smiled when I saw his name. Calixtus

I want to see him so badly, I want to check if his alright if he didn't have any injury from earlier but seems like I can't just beat up this securities outside that's so unreasonable of me.

"I'll cover you up"

A voice from the side spoke while I was drown in my thoughts I look at the side to know who it's from.

"Gretel?"

I frowned and was about to punch her but she stopped me.

"Wait.. I'm sorry if I didn't show up earlier it was too exposing that's why I'm making it up to you."

I breath heavily and calm my self in my sit, I look at her trying to figure out her plan.

"I can go get them to sleep for a couple hours without any sign of harassment nor anything that Cain can use agains you."

She confidently said to me and I do trust her plans she never fail me with anything after all she is my other half.

"Now go on and make yourself prettier and I'll just do my job."

She pull me out of my sit and slowly push me to the stairs I look back at her and she smiled before disappearing into thin air. As I climb up the stairs I grab my phone and texted Calixtus an adress of a restaurant.

Cassandra Cain's POV

I drove at an abandon building in the mountain of Gotham, the whole place was dark no sign of any living creature around, it is the farthest location anyone knows and no one dared to come here since this place us owned by the popular madman in town.

I light up my cigarette and a room from the building light up so I move and entered the building.

As I reach the room tge door quickly open and that scared me a bit.

"Surpris....."

She squiled and her smile disappeared and turned into a confuse look.

"Where is she?"

I look at her for a moment and enter the room I sat down on the dirty couch and smoked.

"I don't think that it's the right time for her to meet you."

I said as I blow the smoke out if my mouth and I look at her and I can tell that she ain't happy about what I said.

"No. His suspecting you and sooner ir later ge will find her and me, and I won't be able to talk to her sincerely."

She said and I can see the sadness in her eyes the longing of a mother to her lost child.

"Harley calm down don't go out of vibe."

I said as I stand up and walk towards her and push her to sit down and keep calm.

"How can I calm down if puddin knows I'm alive his gonna crushed me to death and if he finds out our daughter is alive..... his..."

She panickly explained and I gave her a look to continue her unfinished sentece and sge just look at me with a worried face.

"You know, I could have show up to her back then and go to a place far away from him and we both could have possibly experienced a normal life."

I have never ever in my life seen Harley Quin the sidekick of the prince of crim, the most hated living being in Gotham is infront of me trying to hold her tears and wanting to embrace someone that is her own but she can't and I can't let her.

I can't let him too, the joker is having a search for traces anything about Harley and I cannot let anyone know she's alive.

Joker also have his eyes on me since he knows I was once Quinn's Alliance and if he knows I have Rosa under my palm I am sure he will start to suspect her of someone connected to harley.

"Hey little girl?! You okay? Want some cereal?"

I came back to reality I didn't even notice that Quin already prepared a bowl of cereal for me I accepted it and look at her for a moment and she gave me a confused look.

"What?"

She ask and I chuckled looking at her little tv,
Btw she lived in this building since Joker stop using this for illegal business, I put her here where I could easily guard the are I have security alarm everywhere nearby the place so it is not easy for anyone to notice that we are here.

I go home here after work so I can see her everyday, eversince Black Cannary died I look for harley, when the government said she was dead everyone celebrated for a bit but when joker told everyone that every single person he see's celebrating her death.

Will die.

I was heartbroken at that time she was something more than a friend to me, and because of that I tried to kill myself and was about to jump on this building when someone stop me.

It was her I was so happy and I hug her tight.

Harley kick my leg for being lost in my thoughts and I kick her as well and we just chuckled.

"Btw I'm not a little gurl anymore."

I said eyes on the tv.
