Rosa's POV

"I've never been in a fancy restaurant before"

I shyly chuckled puting my hair to the back of my ear. I never had a doubt when Gretel told me she's going to get me a date tonight.

We are at this fancy resturant in our city and I cannot stop looking around at how beautiful the place was, the chandilers are everywhere the carpet was pure red which I think brings the luxury of this resturant, the table were meters apart, the place smell like a luxurious perfume and what added to my view is how fancy and handsome my date was.

We were eating our newly arrived food and talk about life and stuff we started from some basic questions until to complicated once and I never got this comfortable to a person ever not even to my parents and Cain.

I never really have friends growing up and ever since I meet Cain she always thought me to never let my guard down and always build up my wall and never trust somebody even her.

"So tell me why did you choose to live Gotham? It's a nice town"

I ask him without confusion but rather curiosity.

"The town might be nice but It's chaotic, I like it here it's peaceful save and served some beautiful view"

He was playing with his food when he said that but when he said the last part he look at me deeply and we lock eyes with each other but even though I was drown with love and butterflies are flying inside my stomach, I notice someone from the corner of my left eye so I glance to that direction for a moment and saw....

A familiar group of men and it seems like they knew me or going for me I was shock and scared at the moment but I got back in my sense and didn't made it obvious to Calix.

"Uhmm would you excuse me......just woman's..... bathroom."

I told him but in every word constanly looking at those guys I quickly walk to the comfort room and right when I entered girls started lining up outside and it just gives me time so I lock the room.

"Gretel?"

I called out for her and waited for her to appear and it took like 2 minutes or so, I didn't even have to instruct her she knows what I need.

She throw me my handy pack bag that I quickly grab and examine and it all have my needs.

"Who are they?"

I ask Gretel while I change into my suite and started inserting my weapons in secret area of my body.

"Base on my observation there guns and suits does not belong in any sides of this town technically they are from other town"

Gretel is not a computer but she can access on peoples life like know half of information she can also read their mind but put not fully.

"Where are they from?"

I ask her and her body started waving, Gretel's body is an element of water that's why she is not allowed to make herself visible to human but if I want her too she can actually be seen, everytime she program information all parts of her body starts to wave.

She start waving and gasp like she's out of air and directly look at me.

"They are from Gotham and they're going to get you."

I gritted my teeth thinking for a plan, I can't make a mess in this resturant and in this town this is the safest place in the world and I can make it a chaos if I start gunning down those who are after me.

"Can you distract them?"

I look at Gretel and she seem confused.

"Lead them outside of the resturant and I'll lead them out of this city."

I said and finishing up what I was preparing for when a knock on the door disturbed me.
I slowly put my hand on the door and closed my eyes for a moment and opening them back I can clearly see through the door now and it's the men I spotted earlier they already knew where I am.

"Gretel"

We look at each other and she nod I hid under a pile of sink while Gretel shape ship into me and slowly opened the door and when it was open the man pointed his gun on her.

"Okay... okay no need to put up a fight I'm coming with you"

Gretel said raising her hand in the air and the man lowered his gun and grab Gretel by the other hand.

"Wait"

Gretel said and the man stop looking at her, she turned back into her form and the man was about to shout in shock but Gretel shoved her right hand down her throat and closed the door and when we figured that the man was dead from drowning we place him into the sink with full water.

"Here's my plan, you go out looking like me until you get their attention as I and Calix exit this resturant and if anything goes wrong and they start shooting comeback to me as soon as possible."

Gretel was listening carefully to my plan and I really hope she locks that up on her mind.

"Gretel"

She was about to walk out of the bathroom when I called her.

"Stick with the plan, okay?"

She roll her eyes and shake her head while smiling and got out of the bathroom.
I followed her as soon as I successfully lock the bathroom door and I stop by a corner wherein I can see Gretel but at the same time a good hiding spot.

When she was about to pass those group of guys they secretly grab her wrist and she did not resist and there's my que.

I quickly walk and run to Calixtus who was so confused about my change of clothing.

"We need to go now"

I grab him but he shoved my hands lightly looking so confused.

"Uhm why? You don't like it here? Do I make you feel uncomfortable."

While Calix was talking I can see from the corner of my eye that a man was whispering something to who seems like their boss and the man was looking at me.

I close my eyes and said "reditus"

"Get down"

I open my eyes and hovered over calixtus and I grab my pistol and started firing back as we excited the area.
We excited at a back door in the kitchen which was a bad idea because there were no cars or anything and it was sort of a dead end.

"Who are they?"

Calixtus ask while catching his breath and as I search the area I found a little alley but we have to climb up into some pile of things to get to the alley.

"Follow me I have to get you out of here"

I started climbing the pile but he pulled me down which causes me to slide off the pile and face to face with Calixtus.

"No I'm getting you out of here"

He said to me as we both look back and forth into each others lips and eyes and we were about to kiss when we heard a loud thud so we fastly climb the pile and walk to the dark alley.

Reditus means return in latin.
