Mal's POV:

"Evie, get me my spell book."I told Evie.

"Alright."Said Evie as she reached for it and grabbed it giving me it.

"I need the love potion for the cookie."I look through my spell book.

Suddenly, someone walks in, to our relief, it was only Lonnie.

"You scared the crap out of me!"I laughed and Lonnie laughed too.

"Whatcha makin?"She asked me.

"Cookies."I replied and she went to grab a bite and we tried to stop her. But she did it anyway.

"Mm, tastes good, you know, chocolate chips go perfect with cookies."Lonnie said reaching for a jar of chocolate chips.

"Thank you."I grabbed them and she walked out.

I sprinkled the chocolate chips in the cookie batter and put them in the oven.

"Now all we need to do is wait then we can get the wand and let our parents take over the world."I smirked, they all smirked with me.

We heard a dinging noise, it was the oven signaling that the cookies were done, I went to grab them as Evie puts gloves on me.

"Don't wanna get burnt?"Evie smiled and I nodded.

"They're hot!"Carlos laughed.

"Oh shut up Carlos, everything coming out of the oven is hot."Jay groaned.

The next day

Carlos' POV:

"Alright, get into positions."Mal told us. I was leaning against my locker talking to Evie, like a normal conversation.

Evie was talking to me, leaning on a locker beside me.

Jay was starting a conversation with Chad I think.

We all got into our positions and Mal walked over to Ben.

"Hey Ben."Mal smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Hey Mal."He replied still smiling.

"I was wondering if you wanted a cookie?"Mal questioned him and he shook his head no.

"I never eat before practice, sorry Mal. Maybe later?"Ben said.

"Oh, that's a shame, I guess I'll eat them all myself then."Mal said grabbing a cookie.

"No wait!"Ben grabbed the cookie and ate it.

Ben looked over in my direction and Evie and Jay looked at me trying to get me to explain after, I shrugged saying I don't know what's going on.

"So, feel anything different about me, Benny-boo?"Mal questioned him.

"Uhm..why are you calling me Benny-boo?"Ben looked disgusted.

"Carlos!"He yelled over to me and I walked over to him.

"Yeah..?"I questioned him and he whispered into my ear.

"Uhm..do you want to go out with me?"He whispered in my ear.

"Er..sure."I smiled and he smiled.

"Perfect!"He ran away giving me a thumbs-up.

"What was that..?"Mal questioned me and Jay and Evie nodded, agreeing.

"He asked me out."I told them.

"When he looked at you, the love potion took effect, so you're the one he's in love with..for now."Mal spoke.

"Oh. Makes more sense now."Jay said and Evie agreed.

"It'll be fine, atleast it's one of us. We'll still be able to get the wand, right guys?"Mal told us.

"Yeah."We all said.

The day of the date

"Carlos, it's just a stupid date. You don't need to be all formal."Jay told me and I told him he was right, so I got into some casual clothes.

"Are these good?"I asked him and he nodded, then we heard a knock so I opened the door. Ben was standing there in some casual clothes too.

"Come on Carlos."He smiled grabbing my hand, walking me to where we were going. Then we arrived at Enchanted Lake.

"Here? It's beautiful."I told him smiling.

"I knew you'd like it."He smiled at me.

"Hey! Wanna go for a swim?"He asked me and I shook my head no.

"Suit yourself then."He walked up to the cliff, he only was in his underwear. I laughed.

He jumped down landing in the water.

"You sure you don't want to come in here Carlos?"He yelled and I shook my head no again.

He then went underwater for a long time, I started to get worried.

"Ben, where are you?"I yelled, he came up.

"Sorry, I was looking for something, turns out it's not here anymore."He told me.

"It's fine, let's go back."I said and he nodded, when then got back to Ben's castle, we both said our good-byes.

When I got back into my room, Evie, Jay, and Mal was there.

"What the heck?"I told them.

"How was the date?"Mal questioned.

"Did he ask you to be his date to his coronation?"Evie asked me.

"First of all, the date was good, second of all, no Evie, he did not ask me."I answered.

"Bummer, you need to get him to ask you to be his date to his coronation."Mal told me.

"I know."I plopped down on my bed.

"I'm tired, shoo."I shooed them away, Evie and Mal went back to their room when Jay was doing homework.

I then went to sleep, I was really tired.

The next day

"Carlos!"Ben stopped infront of me.

"Yeah?"I questioned.

"Come here."He motioned for me to follow him.

"Yeah?"I followed him.

"Do you want to be my date to my coronation?"He asked me and joy filled my eyes.

"Yes!"I hugged him and he chuckled.

"Calm yourself Carlos, coronation isn't until next month."He calmed me down.

"Alright, can I go back to my friends now?"I asked him and he nodded, I ran back to my friends.

"What did he want?"Evie questioned.

"He asked me to be his date to his coronation."I told her and she squealed quietly.

"Perfect, you need to grab Fairy God Mother's wand when you're up there, got it? I'll work on a potion that removes the love potion and you can give it to him after the coronation, okay Carlos?"Mal told me.

"K."I said and she nodded.
