Have you ever wonder why we were here? That we cannever feel love, pain, or the other sets of emotions? have you ever wonder where we were created, born to die in war? People like us were never ment to live a happy life, never ment to have a family, never to see our families again. My life as a fugitive, gone MIA, and betrayed my squad members in the line of duty. I was the ultimate weapon created, engineer by scientists from their own flesh and bones, I was 162 Ultima.
My life was short, I had no childhood, only a few others like me to be known as Squadron SkyLine. I only knew one other that wasn't engineer like me and 167 Omega, she was human, but... she then turned roughed with an A.I called Tenement implanted inside yer skull. I had Alpha-Omega-101, he was compatible with my style of fighting.
After our squad was formed, Omega, Beta, and myself, we were sent to a military academe, where we were undergone watch of our... chaperone, Kelly Gillson. I was eight at the time, omega six, and beta was ten. She was the oldest between the three of us. I was the middle child, Omega had a sharp attitude, Beta was neutral, and myself was more of the... Brains of our group of three. I was made squad leader after four years at the military academy, we were then sent to the lab; our home to be upgraded with gears.
"Ultima! Are you updating your logs again? We need to get out of here before they come looking for us again. Delta told me that he seen Beta's A.I's signature, about two clicks north east from here." Omega shouted at me as I turned my log screen off to get my gear ready for a short run northwards. "I know this it's been eight years since Beta went rogue, and our squad dwindled down to the two of us, with Delta's help."
"I know Omega, I need to see her again before we're captured and tried against our... crimes." I was hesitant with my last words, I wanted Beta's sanity back, to see her smile...
"G-guys?" Delta's squeaky voice alerted us both as we grabbed our weapons.
A sudden explosion hit our makeshift shelter of rocks and trees. The fuck did they find us? We trudged outside to see a battalion of Night Hawks, this was bad, I knew as a blue Plasmic grenade hit one of the tanks. I looked to see where that grenade came from. That's when I saw Beta for the first time in eight ?.
A wicked laugh erupted from her throat as she caught the attention of the Night Hawks. "Alpha-17..." The words left my mouth as I rushed over to he before anyone else did. I wrapped my arms around her as she looked me with tears, the wicked smile across her face, her eyes were covered by the visor.
"Beta-317, Ultima-162, Delta-160, and Omega-167. You are here by treason of MIA, death to the councilmen, and the destruction of Area 1, Sector 117." One of the men said through an amplifier, I knew my time was up, all I just wanted was to see Beta.
=---=
"Squadron SkyLine, you are brought before us by your accusation of murder, MIA, and betrayal of our cause." A stuffy elder man said. I wanted to know if I can pull that sick from his ass. "You four will be sentenced to imprisonment on Out Post Nine, the Epsolon area, for the remainder of your life."
Out Post Nine... I haven't heard that name in a long time. I wonder if I should let these old humans know That our squad had work there for three years before Beta left us. I wanted to but Omega shot a sharp glance at me as I kept my tongue silent to let these old geezers talk us down; we were back in the system again. I knew Omega was a rebellious type, but knew when and where to hold his tongue when being spoken too. Maybe that's why I liked him as a member of my squadron?
"You four will be departed immediately. Take them back to their cells separately, and make sure that Beta-317 has her AI removed before departing the home world." One of the older men said.
Beta's eyes grew wide in fear as she looked at him. Her blonde short hair flung backwards and over her face as she looked up at the six podiums, screaming and kicking as the rest of us went to our cells. I can still hear her voice inside my head, her sweet voice, I wanted to cradle her broken body when she was thrown back into her cell with a whimper.
