A/N: in this chapter, Ultima is sick and who takes care of a twenty three year old baby? gotta read it to know! :D
'Ultima cannot come to give you his response on how he has been doing. Thomas, also known as Ultima, has caught, what you would call, the flu. He has been vomiting and been stranded at Tue toilet since 0930 hours. He has James, also known as Omega, running around this little village for some medicine.' Alpha-Omega said into my head.
"Why must you-" I threw up into the toilet again.
It had been five hours since nine this morning that ai contracted the flu. "You repeat what has happen!?" I yelled at my A.I as I sat next to the toilet.
"Epsollon... where is Omega?" I asked tye other A.I, who just adored her/his/its small reflection in the mirror.
"He should he arriving anytime now, Thomas." Epsollons voice mixed with many things and sounds.
"Tha-" I threw up into the toilet again.
"You..." I felt my dinner on my face as I tried to clean myself up again.
I had never gotten sick before, I was always taken care of, and I always had good health. Omega had gotten sick when we first met fifteen years ago, yeah, long time to know ones movements so flawlessly.
"Thomas!" I heard Omega out by the door.
"In here." I groaned as I felt like everything was emptied from my stomach.
"I had gotten some herbal teas, and herbs to help settle your stomach." Omega came in as he helped me to my cot in the living room.
"Get some rest, I'll make you some simple chicken soup." He said as I curled up under my blanket. The air felt cold as I kept pulling more blankets over my body to make me feel warmer.
=----=
I soon fell asleep into a deep sleep; something was pulling me into this dream state more and more. What I did not know, that things like seeing cows fly, Elites cowering before man and that people were just plain weird. I was hoping that something else would happen in my dream, and there I seen her again. Beta was sitting with a child in her lap; I looked closer to see that she held a dead child. I was shocked about this. Maybe that she did have my child after all, and she felt regret about the abortion that everyone kept telling her about. I was stunned to see her crying, just like day that we had found her... Maybe that there is something more to her than I thought at the time, maybe I was too high up in my head when she asked me to run away with her when I was only fifteen.
The scenery changed again to me holding a blond child in my arms. This was weird, due to the fact that I never had kids in my life, or maybe that this child was Kushinas' child that she asked me to look after if something had happened to her. Slowly, I had heard someone saying my name from far off into the distance, I tried to look at the blurred figure, but all I can see is darkness. I carried the child in my arms, trying to find out who that person was, to see if this person was destine to be with to look after this child. I was too confused as my body jerked forwards to see this silver haired child again. Without knowing it, I found myself on the floor, sweating like a weird person and also panting heavily.
"Ultima, Kakashi came over to see if you were alright. Kushina sent him over to check up on you." James said as I looked over at the short blond man.
"I'm... I'm okay. Just a little sick is all…" I said to the boy, who then just nodded and vanished into thin air before my eyes.
If I was that naive, I would have just started screaming out saying 'Bloody Murder!' over and over again. I am still young, but I am getting too old to be surprised about all this ninja stuff. I felt stupid for doing this with Omega; I didn’t need a babysitter to watch over me while I was sleeping.
“Ultima, you are so hard headed some time?” James said to me as he came over with a bowl of soup in his hands. I was not one to judge, but was James smiling at me?
“What did you do now, James?” I asked as I reached for the bowl of soup and took a sip of it.
It was warm; I can feel the heat running through my body from that tiny sip of soup. “I met someone today. They were nice enough to ask me out on a date tonight.” His smile only gotten bigger from saying what he said.
“Good for you James, I just hope that you won’t have sex on in front of me while I am sick.” I shot a glare at the younger man.
“No worries, Thomas. ‘Sides, we’re just going to a restaurant that’s run by a ninja family.”
“Good. I don’t want to hear moans right on the other side of that thin wall over there.” I pointed at the wall separating the living room and the bedroom.
Since that I was so stubborn, I wanted to sleep in the living room than in that tiny bedroom. Taking another sip of my soup, I felt a little better than I was earlier in the day. I was hoping that I would make a full recovery by now, but I guess that won’t happen. I just hope I don’t die by tomorrow morning by throwing up in that dingy toilet again.
