        A few days passed after that and the two of you were now a couple. You would hold hands, share small kisses, and spend the night at each other's apartments. The Homra members didn't know you were a thing, but they could tell something was different. Kusanagi was the only one who had an idea about what changed, but he wasn't going to tell anyone until you would. For now, you and Saruhiko decided to keep it a secret until the time was right. Currently, you were walking home from work when you felt your phone buzz in your pocket. You thought it was Saruhiko, but checked to see it was from Yata instead.

Yata: Hey! The gang's here at our place if you wanna hang out tonight! You in?

You smiled at the text thinking nothing could go wrong with staying up a little longer. Plus, it was a chance to see your boyfriend.

You: Can't miss that can I? Save me some food tho!

With quick steps, you headed to their shared apartment in hopes of having a good time. You knocked on the front door and didn't have to wait long for a response. Chitose opened the door with a smirk at the sight of you.

"Well, well, the silent beauty has arrived, gentlemen," he said as he made room for you to enter. You rolled your eyes then took a few steps in.

"Most people usually say hello or good to see ya," you told him just before everyone realized you were there.

"(y/n)~!" most of them cheered and you quickly discovered that most of them were drunk or drinking. You softly laughed as Yata shot his arm up.

"Hey, (nickname), come sit with me!" he said so you nodded and walked over to him. The two of you did your little handshake like usual before you sat down.

"Hey, Yata. What's with the celebration?" you asked thinking you accidentally forgot someone's birthday.

"Mostly just to hang out. I thought everyone could use it seeing how busy we've been," he replied while leaning back on his elbows. You took a glance around the room to see a few Homra members and one of the Minato brothers all having a good time. But someone was missing. A gasp echoed in the apartment and you turned to see Saruhiko waking up with a start from his bed in the top bunk. He turned toward the group and tried to speak to Yata, but everyone started to laugh thinking he had to go to the restroom. You stared at him for a moment before standing up and climbing the ladder to the top bunk.

"Are you alright?" you asked while sitting on the edge of his bed. Saruhiko gave a slight nod then pulled the covers over his head.

"Yeah, I'm fine. You can go back with them if you want." he said, but you instantly knew something was wrong. You laid down beside him with a soft thud then tried to think of something nice to say.

"But I came to see you." you replied hoping it would catch his attention. It did. He turned towards you then intertwined your hand with his. You lightly placed your forehead against his with a faint smile on your face. He returned it then softly kissed your lips. You gave a quiet laugh then pulled him into a hug which he gladly accepted. Combing your fingers through his hair, you believed he had calmed down from the nightmare.

"Did you have a bad dream?" you asked with a bit of hesitance. He tensed up at your words then pulled you closer.

".....Yeah." he replied in a quiet voice. Your grip on him slightly tightened. He did have a nightmare. And you assumed it was about his deceased father.

"But.....I feel better now that you're here." he continued while hiding his face. You blushed a bit just as he looked up at you. He chuckled at your reaction making you feel embarrassed.
