It had been some time since you joined Scepter 4. Munakata had put you to use right away once you and Saruhiko had become official members. For him, you were his spy when normal means couldn't work. Which meant you were hardly ever at the Scepter 4 headquarters like normal members.

It was already late when you returned so no one was there to greet you at the entrance. Quickly, you made your way to the Captain's office to give your report. You knocked three times once you reached the door before entering. Munakata sat at his desk like he always did when you returned from missions.

"Welcome back. How'd it go?" he asked with his hands folded. You did a polite bow before speaking.

"I resolved the issue with the illegal imports of weapons by the unregistered Strains. They were apprehended and are under your custody as we speak. Furthermore, trades from any side have been stopped." you explained with your arms crossed behind your back. The Blue King hummed in response then stood up and walked over to you.

"Good work. I look forward to the full written report. Take tomorrow off per my order." he said as he stood in front of you. You nodded then turned around to take your leave.

"One more thing. Tell Fushimi to take tomorrow off as well. He hasn't been working well since you left for your mission." Munakata said with your back turned to him. Your face turned a million different shades of red at what he meant. It was true that the captain was aware of your relationship with Saruhiko, but it meant you had to face his constant teasing about it. You nodded your head once more then left while trying to avoid eye contact as you shut the door behind you.

Once in the dark hallway, you let out a long sigh before heading for your dorm. As much as you wanted to see him, you knew you couldn't just yet. It had been ten days since you left for your mission when you promised him that it would only be four. You could already hear him yelling at you for not letting him go with you. Another sigh escaped your lips as you opened the door to your dorm.

Quietly, you shut the door behind you and began to take your blue coat off. You tossed it to the side then froze. The room was dark, but you felt as if something was watching you. Before you had a chance to pull out your sword, someone emerged from the darkness and pushed you back. The intruder held your wrists against the door while their body clung close to yours. Within the same moment, the intruder pressed their lips against yours which made you realize who it was. You stopped resisting and gave into him once the danger was gone.

"..You just let intruders harass you?" Saruhiko asked as he placed his forehead against yours while catching his breath. You scoffed at his question.

"You're not an intruder if you live here too. Plus I'm starting to tell the difference between you and a stranger," you answered with a smile. He smirked a bit then released his hold he had on you by the door. Once you were free, you lunged forward and wrapped your arms around his waist in a tight embrace. He returned it and his presence quickly became a comfort.

"What are you doing here anyway?" you asked him while moving to look at his face. Saruhiko turned his face away while thinking of a response. Through the darkness, you could tell he was embarrassed by something. You smiled then kissed his cheek.

"I missed you too," you told him while hugging him tighter. Saruhiko was a bit taken aback by your actions but did the same nonetheless. It was quiet between the two of you as you held each other before he spoke.

"...You should've let me come with you," he said with a hint of sternness to it. You shook your head in response.

"You could've gotten hurt. Plus, you're needed here more than anything. I can handle a few Strains," you said while turning your face to look at him. He clicked his tongue.

"That's not what I meant," Saruhiko argued. Smiling, you kissed his cheek once more.

"I know, I know. Anyway, can we talk about it later? I kinda wanna sleep in my bed for once," you explained while rubbing one of your eyes. He smirked as he held you close and brought both of you to your bed with you laying on his chest. You snuggled closer to him as his arms loosely hung at your waist. A sigh left your lips as you began to relax until you remembered something.

"The Captain said we could have tomorrow off. He said you weren't working too well while I was gone," you told him. He clicked his tongue once more.

"Can't he keep his nose out of our business?" he asked to no one in particular. You laughed at this knowing he disliked how the Blue King watched over the two of you rather closely. It was inevitable, though, considering you started dating before joining Scepter 4 and he was well aware of it, unlike your coworkers.

"At least I can spend more time with you instead of trying to make days off line up," you said thinking it was kind of nice of him. Saruhiko smirked as he looked at you.

"That just means I can properly punish you tomorrow," he stated. You froze at his words then gave him a confused look. His smirk only grew.

"You said it would take four days. It's been ten. I think it's only fair that I punish you for lying," he explained further. You gulped as a blush appeared on your cheeks. This wasn't the first time he's done something like this and you feared it wouldn't be the last.

"Fine, fine. I guess it's only fair this time. Just as long as it's not something too embarrassing," you stated while hiding your flustered face. He chuckled at your behavior and moved a few strands of your hair behind your ear.

"Don't worry... It'll be for my eyes only," Saruhiko said in a whisper that caused your face to turn a dark red.

"Saru!" you hissed while punching his shoulder from what he implied. He was unfazed by your action and laughed a bit more. You frowned at this knowing tomorrow wouldn't be as relaxing as you hoped it. Oh well...

That was something you could deal with tomorrow.
