I made through my first week. It's a miracle! Saturday is tomorrow and Charlene is stayin over tonight. This week I've gotten a lot closer to Mark. I have a huge crush on him now. Ever since I met him I've been so much happier. Everyone can sense my happiness because I've been dancing and singing around the house lately. I know I'm a little weird, but whatever. "Savv, you're dreaming about him again aren't you?" Charlene asked me once we walked into my room.

"I'm sorry Char. It's just that- he makes me happy. No guy has ever had that kind of effect on me."

Charlene smiled. "I'm glad you're happy, but could you please start spending a little more time with me. I'm starting to feel like the third wheel." she confessed her feelings. I'm so glad she can be so open to me.

"Yeah, im sorry"

"Hey! No worries" she gave me a little side hug. "Let's get this sleepover on!" she yelled. It amazes me how forgiving she can be. I'm so glad to have a friend like her. We dropped our bags and went to change into our pj's. I love wearing pajamas they are so soft and comfy! We grabbed a feww DVD's and some food from downstairs and went back to my room. We picked up "Beauty and the Beast", "Inception", and "Easy A". We ate popcorn with chocolate drizzles all over it, pizza, twizzlers, and ice cream!

At 10:00 we finished all of the movies. We got bored and decided to prank all some people. I love prank calling people! It's so fun!!!! "Okay, who is our victim?" Charlene asked herself.

I thought for a minute and became to my mind. "I know. Mark"

She looked at me quizically. "Let's do it!" she said excitedly. (AN: thats what she said!)

J grabbed my phone and dialed Mark's number with *67 before it. It rang a few times before he answered. "Hello?" his deep, sexy voice greeted. My heart was melting. Snap out of it Savv! Don't fall for him too fast! I too busy in my thoughts to answer so Charlene answered for me.

"Hi! Is this Mark? Or did he give me the wrong number? Haha! But please tell me you're Mark Lanster!" Charlene said in, a very convincing, pleading voice.

"Yeah, I'm Mark. May I ask who this is?"

"Okay! Good! I thought you were another one of those guys who like think I'm weird or something... How could you not remember me? We met last night. I said I'd call you tomorrow, and, well, it's tomorrow!" wow, this girl knows how to act!

"I was at home last night... How did you get my number? Who the hell are you!?" he started to get a little irritated.

"Um...Mark! It's me! Brittany! Don't you remember? We made out in your closet!" the line went dead after that. "Well it seems like he enjoyed that..." Char said jokingly.

"Yeah. But not how I expected it to be. Well I'm pooped. Goodnight."

"Kay. Night" we shut off the lights and went to bed.

~Morning~

I woke up to the delicious smell of bacon and pancakes! Yeah, I know what pancakes smell like! They smell like yumminess inside a bread mix! I got up and walked around to find Charlene. I didn't find her anywhere in my room, and I looked everywhere. I checked my walk-in closet. Nope, she wasnt in there! I went over to my bathroom and saw her asleep in my bathtub. Why she was there? I have no idea... I went over to her and picked her up. Gosh! She was heavy! I dropped her on my bed with a soft thump. She tossed and turned for a bit, then flopped over so she was laying on her belly in the shape of a starfish. She wouldn't wake up so I sat on top of her. I heard her grunt. I chuckled a little. She said "I know you want me, but you can't have me." I don't whether she knew it was me or not. I turned so I was facing her head. I grabbed some of her shoulder length black hair and pulled. "OW!" she shrieked. "What was that for?" she rubbed the area that I hurt.

"It's for not waking up. Now my pancakes won't be warm!" I huffed and put my arm across my chest.

She gasped. "There's pancakes? Why didnt you say that????" she grabbed my arm and dragged me downstairs. My parents cooked a big beautiful breakfast complete with eggs, bacon, cheese, bread, orange juice, and, of course, pancakes. I knew my parents were awesome cooks, but I take them for granted.

They're never home to be with me. It made me feel sad. I felt like they didn't want me so I acted as though as I didn't want them. That's how much it pained to know that all they can do is cook food for me. Sometimes they even leave at home for a whole week because their job requires them to say overnight. I only see them like once or twice a year. They don't even come for my birthday or Christmas. I looked up and saw that Charlene had already finished her breakfast. "Hey, are you okay? You haven't eaten yet" she looked at me with worried eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just don't feel like eating anymore." I couldn't let her know that I was hurting inside. I didnt want to ruin her good mood because of my bad one.
