"Zeke, I'm bout to go in the office, tell my stinka butt I'll call him tomorrow, okay?" E'ani spoke as she pulled up to her office building that morning at 7:30.

"Aight, Yanni. Stop calling him stink, you know I hate that shit," he chuckled. "Love you, moe," he laughed. He loved to call her moe over the phone so she wouldn't 'forget where she was from'.

"Nigga," she laughed. "Stop calling me moe. I love you too, brother," she smiled, hanging up the phone. She missed her older brother so much, and her little nephew EJ. Being here in Philly meant being without them for most of the year. They weren't a long drive away but she had obligations here now.

Her brother lived in D.C. now, near their mom. He and his wife, Brianne's house was like Yanni's home away from home. Ezekiel was seven years older than her, making him thirty-two now, compared to her twenty four. He taught high school history in D.C. and his little sister looked up to him in every way. She was his mini me, you'd think Zeke was her dad when they were out in public without their parents sometimes.

Their parents adored their kids relationship, and only wished they stayed close as they got older, and they did.

E'ani slipped her heels on in the elevator, she hated wearing them while walking to the building, the gravel always had her ankles giving up on her. She wore a houndstooth pencil skirt and a yellow bell sleeved blouse today, paired with nude pointed toe stilettos.

She was known in her office for the way she dressed. She and the receptionist/office secretary Sincere were titled as best dressed. They believed everyone else were just bad dressers because they were old. But they'd never say that.

"Good morning, Sincere!" E'ani grinned after tapping her ID badge off the elevator, entering their office.

"Okay, yellow! Good morning, sis," Sincere smiled, showing off her pretty white teeth. Sincere was the first person E'ani clicked with at the office, their personalities meshed perfectly, E'ani being the more demure girl, and Sincere being bubbly and vivacious.

"What's tea today?" Yanni asked, leaning on the reception desk.

"Girl, Ms. Lori came in here fussing about her husband and her kids again, Mr. Randy didn't brush his teeth and came in here drinking coffee blowing his breath in my damn face. And—Oh! Bitch KG is here he said he wanna see you later," she said, making Yanni's eyes go wide.

"K-KG?! Why?" she asked.

"I don't know girl, but you better get back there, we on for lunch?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'll come back at 2," she smiled, strutting back to her cubicle, mind racing. KG was one of the owners of the firm, Kenneth Garrett. He was the KG in TGK sports management. She'd only met him once when she was at her second interview for the position and she didn't know why he could possibly be here to see her.
