"It's almost my birthday!" Yanni cheesed, as soon as she opened her eyes. Today—November 2nd, Yanni was celebrating with her friends and family, and tomorrow, with Amere specifically. She was excited, because he didn't tell her what he had planned, but she knew it'd be good.
"It is," Amere laughed from across the room. She had taken some time off work this week, only going into the office when she had to, and he saw a change in her moods. She wasn't as annoyed all day long, and she smiled and laughed way more.
"My mom and dad here yet?" she wondered, getting up and stretching. They had already spent the entire day before cleaning up for her family's arrival, and Amere was glad because he didn't want to do anything today except celebrate, and give E'ani her gift.
"Not yet, baby," he replied, happy to see her so enthused. "Whatchu wearin'? You know yet?" he wondered, watching her walking toward the bathroom. "Girl where the hell you goin', gimme my damn kiss," he fussed at her, making her laugh.
"Sorry, bubba," she walked over to him and gave him a quick kiss. "But I don't know what I'm wearing yet, it's brunch so I'm thinking like cute and casual, you know?" she asked, continuing to the bathroom, and he followed her.
"Whatever you wear gon' look good," he complimented, leaning against the counter while she started brushing her teeth. "You know, it's my second birthday of yours I'm spendin' wit' you? My gift way better this year," he smirked.
"What is it?" she whined after spitting her toothpaste, before starting to brush some more.
"Now why the hell Ima tell you?" he chuckled. "Jus' know you gon' love it. Now finish washin' up so I can love on you," he kissed her cheek and exited the bathroom altogether.
"It's so beautiful, Yanni!" her mom gushed. Her family had finally arrived and she was giving them the tour of their house, and her mother was in love.
"Thank you mommy," she grinned. "He has very good taste, we looked at so many options, and this was my favorite as well when we saw it. Even though its his house, I still was hoping he'd pick this," she chuckled.
