You say you love me, but then you hurt me
When I needed you the most, you leave me
These mixed emotions I can't control
They spiral in different directions
The answer is a blur
And I'm scared to see the clear picture come to life
I have seen the preview, but afraid to see the movie
Because I know the movie is worse
And I can't brush off this shaking feeling inside me, knowing I will feel the pain again
Knowing I will feel the ache again as you plunder yourself onto me
As I attempt to get up, I fall again, grounded
Grounded to the floor, alone without a trace of you being there
And I sit there....And I wonder, Did you ever love me in the first place?
Heyyyyy, i know it has been a couple of weeks, and I actually wrote this poem last week, but things came up and i was unable to post it. Anyway, just praying I can make it through finals this week!! Ahh! Let's hope and pray guys. Now, the real reason I wrote this poem was for my dear friend Eboni!! I love her, she's my closest friend and like a sister to me. I wrote this about her, and she's been through. I will say no more before I start crying, but I love her to the ends of the earth. Peace you guys! :D
