CHAPTER IV: THE UNUSUAL CASE OF KHODA WHITE.

Khoda knew he wasn't normal. He was the only known person in Boardvill that actually suffered from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Then there was the fact that he survived that fire 6 years ago without a sctrach on his body. Then the rattling or vibrating of things when he gets mood swings.

He never thought of it much because it never happened in public or around other people. He wasn't atheist, he did believe in a higer power but he also believed that Humans weren't the only ones living on Earth. Growing up reading mythical books on Dragons with Heros and Heroins influenced him to think like that.

He remembered how his mother reacted when he told her that he is not normal. It was just after the Science incident...

-Flashback-

A 13 year old Khoda White sat on the chair on the dinner table. His mother was preparing breakfast for him. He knew she was disappointed. He hit Kevin Milligan so badly that he was currently in hospital. Thanks to his mothers contacts he wasn't expelled but suspended and Mrs Milligan dropped charges.

That wasn't what worried him though. Kevin Milligan deserved what he got, no one gets away with bullying girls. No, what worried him was what happened after. Whilst the whole world was against him and he was trying to get his point through he felt an over powering of rage, hate, frustration and anger, then the explosion happend and Khoda felt himself relaxed and much more calmer.

At first he though he was Sociopath because whilst everyone was terrified and worried about the lab he felt calm but his rational side said that Sociopaths don't feel emotions whilst Khoda felt emotions, negative emotions at that but still emotions. He also felt a little bad as someone could have gotten hurt.

"Mum...do you think I'm normal?" He asked all of a sudden. He watched as his mother froze. Even though he was 13 years old he was a prodigy. He had a good memory.  He was also very smart. And he knew when someone was hesitating. Like how his mother was right now.

"What makes you think you not?" His mother asked, turning around, her forest gree eyes sparkling in love and confusion and a little worry.

"Well...it's just..." he started then went on to explain what he thought happened and how he suspected that he was the cause of it.

His mother looked grim, "Amare*, you are an extraordinary child, every child is, what happened in the lab was a accident by Mr Morris, he even admitted it, you didn't do anything, Angelum meum*."  His mother said. Cupping his cheeck and pulling him in a hug.

-Flashback End-

He found himself walking towards Break Café. His flashback draining him. What was wrong with him? What is going on with him? Maybe he is mentally unstable? He loved his mother. Even though they argued a lot and had a bunch of misunderstandings he loved her. Why does his life have to be so complicated?

"You look like you need a drink Kowala." A soft voice said and Khoda found himself looking at his new friend. He couldn't help but smile.

"Adriana, how are you?" He joked as he pulled Adrian Rumbell in a hug. The two met at the bar the previous night and hit it off instantly.

"Well it's work so..." he shrugged. He gestured for Khoda to sit. "What can I get you?" Adrian asked.

"Milk coffee, strong with 2 sugers." Came the reply. Adrian raised a brow. "You are probably the onky person here that drinks strong milk coffe and I don't know why but I am not surprised." Adrian said with a smug smile before walking away to get the order.
