Doeun's POV

"Hurry," Yeonjun furrowed his brows and I pretended that I didn't want to sit on his lap. I glared at him and folded my arms curving my mouth into a frown.

"Hey we're a couple anyways, so what if you sit on my lap?"

"We're not a couple and you should know that this is a public place." I scoffed, placing my hands to hips.

He rolled his eyes,

"Honey we're going to take forever if you just don't do it."

"Fine," I placed my bum to him and he put the skates on me, tying the laces in pretty bows and he helped me up.

"I'll catch you if you fall," I saw him hold my hand and I blushed unknowingly. I saw him moving gracefully without me. He made me swoon from his moves and I stared at him twirling and pulled my hands to his and I was dragged by him.

I felt the air going through my locks of hair and he smiled as I struggled to keep up with him. Yeonjun placed his hands to my waist and embraced me tightly.

My face collided with his chest and my hands were on his chest as he hugged me tightly.

I didn't say anything, and I felt something hitting my forehead. I saw that it was his heart,

Yeonjun let go of me and we finished skating. He took off the skates from my feet and helped me get on my feet.

"Get in, we're going for some food." He closed the car door and he sat in the driver's seat.

"Doeun you're so cold," Yeonjun tried to warm my hands up with his. I leaned to my side of the window but he yanked me closer and felt his soft skin rubbing with my hands.

"Where do you think you're going," He said with a smug smile.

I looked at him and made eye contact with him. I quickly looked away and looked straight ahead.

He started to drive, and I dusted myself off. I smiled unknowingly remembering the warmth from Yeonjun's hands, how soft he felt.

We arrived at a sleek fancy restaurant and I gasped at the interior design.

I noticed that we were in Itaewon and the city was beautiful.

The quiet piano music and the sweet scent of food cooking was filling in the air.

"Y-yeonjun, isn't this place too expensive?" I nagged at his arm. "We should get out of here,"

He just winked at me and called the waiter for a table. I insisted on getting a regular table but he wanted to have a separate room to ourselves for eating.

"You didn't have to do this," I mumbled, "I wanted a regular table,"

Yeonjun chuckled and left his coat on the chair and I left my bag to the booth and caught up to him. We both ate in silence and the food was the best I had ever had, but I was worried about the price, so I stopped eating after one plate.

"Hmm? Why aren't you eating?" He looked up from his plate,

"I'm full," I lied. "The food isn't that good here..."

"Ey, you were eating just fine a few minutes ago," Yeonjun said with his mouth full, "Are you serious about the food being bad? Do you want to go to a different restaurant-

"No, I can't eat in peace because I'm worried about the price," I mumbled looking to my plate.

"Ah, it's because of that?" Yeonjun laughed, "Eat as much as you want. I'll pay for everything."

"But-

"No buts. I'll pay for everything so don't worry about it." He said, "I'm going for another plate, want to join me?" I was hesitant at first but he shrugged, "I mean if you want to,"

I nodded and smiled, as he linked arms with me and walked to the food counter.

After eating, Yeonjun brought me to the top of a light house trail. I smelled the salty air and the ocean waves were crashing against the black rocks. It was already the afternoon and we both saw the sky becoming red and pink from the sunset. It was beautiful.

He held me tightly as he leaned his head to my shoulder. The sunset light was casting on to his face and it made him even more beautiful than he is...

"Doeun, I hope this moment lasts forever," He breathed into my ear like a melody.

I sighed letting go of a hitched breath.

"I'm sorry for believing Chaeryoung..."

I heard the name coming off his lips and the once beautiful sunset turned black and it was all over. I felt a cold chill going through my hair. He didn't have to apologize like that, I didn't need to hear Chaeryoung's name again.

"I'm sorry-

"Yeonjun stop." I shut my eyes tightly, "I don't want to hear it, no...I don't want to even think about it."

I clenched my fists and my knuckles turned ghostly white. My mind strained as I thought about horrible mean Chaeryoung.

Was it bad that I was still mad at Yeonjun for taking her side? Was is bad that I was still mad at her for hitting on Yeonjun and telling him lies?

"I'm sorry for bringing it up-

"Stop." I said sighing, "Don't say a word." I was disappointed, I was trying to forget anything that happened in the past. I was trying to have fun and be happy with Yeonjun, but...as soon as he brought it up,

My life shattered.

Yeonjun's hands slithered to my waist and tried to pull me closer but I pushed him away stiffly.

"I'm tired, I'll get home on my own so don't..." My voice trailed off, "I mean, you don't have to take me home."

I saw a flash of disappointment on his face, his eyes narrowed and his lips parted.

"Arraseo," He said coldly. I was walking away from him until I felt his hand grab my arm and pull my backwards.

"I'll take you home. It's not safe for a girl to walk home."

I bit my lips and I couldn't see him in the eyes. I shrugged and he helped me leave the light house.

The car ride home was silent and I felt stiff all over my body. I could see that he was taking glances but I didn't look at him at all.

The night was cold and I didn't notice I fell asleep in his car.

Yeonjun's POV

I pulled up in front of her house. I wanted to say something to her but I couldn't.

"Doeun, we're here." I said quietly. I looked at her and noticed that she was sleeping, I saw her soft snores leave her beautiful lips.

She looked so peaceful...

Her flawless complexion glowed under the car light, and her black lashes were long and shiny.
