Life goes on

JACINTHA POV

Now I'm searching for my new job. I went to plenty of interviews but nothing works out. It's OK. I shouldn't give up. JC, you can do it!!

When I was going to another interview, I stop when I see Arthur in front of me.

''Arthur'', I greeted him warmly. He has been good to me since the beginning.

''Jacintha, how are you?''

''I'm fine'', I smile. Both of us sat on the bench at the park beside us.

''what's the matter? You came to meet me all of a sudden?''

''Jacintha, Master Drake is looking miserable. I...''

''If this is about Drake, please drop it because I don't want to hear about him anymore'', I said strictly.

''Do you really hate him so much now?'', Arthur turned his head to see me. I averted my sight away from him.

''Is that make any difference now? Why can't you guys just leave me alone!! I've suffered a lot!! Now that Clara is back, ask him to be happy with her. What's so big deal?'', I asked him angrily.

''You don't know anything Jacintha. Master Drake did like that for your own safety. He broke off his tie with you because he doesn't want you to lose your life!! He cares for you....''

''Stop it, Arthur. I don't want to listen to anything'', I cut him off. ''what you know about me? After he left, I feel dying every day. The truth is he doesn't trust me. He gave up on me easily. He doesn't even want to try to be with me just because he's scared!! Scare for everything!!'', I raised my voice.

''If he doesn't care for you, he won't leave the war and came to save you that time'', his words make me turn see him.

''What you mean?''

''So many things had happened after Drake left you. We were having war every day because of Dashiel's servants. Last time, we were fighting with Cyrus Helion, one of a powerful demon. But Drake left that important war just to save you. Because of it, Cyrus was escaped and plotting to kill Drake because Drake almost kill him in that war''

''So now you are blaming me like him?'', I asked him disappointedly. 

''No Jacintha... I just want you to see what is really happening around. Ok fine, let me ask you. In case if Drake tried to sacrifice yourself, will you just watch him or try to stop him?'', his words dropped my expression. 

''that's what Drake did. Not because he thinks that you are a disturbance but for him, he wants you to live long. He knows that no matter how many times he tried to stop you, you won't listen to him but instead whenever you know that Drake will be in danger, you will endanger yourself for him. He doesn't want that. That's why he acted cruelly to you'', he explained

Suddenly I'm having some sort of mixed feelings. But No, I can't let my guard down. 

''Whatever happens happened. I don't want to think about the past anymore'', I told him.

''Ok Jacintha. If that's what you want, then I will just leave this place'', he stands up. ''I just came here to tell you that Clara has withdrawn Master Drake's curse. Now Master Drake can drink blood freely but you know what... he refuses to drink others' blood. Because of this, Drake gets weaker and when Cyrus attacked him, he stabbed Master Drake'', I was shocked with Arthur's words. 

''but... Clara took that attack on behalf of Master Drake. She's dying and incurable because the poison from that sword already spread around her body but can be curable only if Cyrus died'', he informed. ''and guess what, Master Drake went out to search for Cyrus to hunt him down. But I know he will die eventually. Because his power is reduced. He cannot fight equally'', he added.

''But wait... why am I telling this all right? You don't care about him anymore'', he smiled sarcastically. ''sorry for taking your time Jacintha. I thought you are different from others but I guess I'm wrong'', my expression changed with his words. ''I'm leaving. Take care, Jacintha. I do mean it. Take care'', Arthur left the place.

Thanks to him, he confused my mind. My heart only thinking about Drake. No No... don't think anything. My interview went smoothly and I finally got the job. It was a high paid job and now I help my brother to contribute something for my family.

Lying on my bed, I stare at the ceiling. Suddenly my mind was thinking about Clara. She tried to sacrifice her life for Drake. Just like what I did last time. But I was survived. How about Drake? I cannot let myself go down anymore.

Drake was coughing blood. He was injured all over his body. The demon was attacking him brutally. He looked weaker. Suddenly that demon tries to stab Drake using a silver crucifix.

I jolted awake with that dream. My hands touch around my neck. I forgot that since Jay broke our tie, the black pearl disappeared too. Last time I was able to go to their place because of Kayne. Maybe I can call him. Thank God, he has his phone. 

NO POV

Drake was walking weakly while supporting himself by grabbing a tree.

''There you are'', Cyrus smirked. ''you think you can fight me, coward?'', he snaps his finger. His shadow proxies storm towards Drake to attack him but someone breaks their attack.

''Thank me later, Drake'', Kayne smirked.

Drake was breathing harder while looking at Kayne.

''Jacintha, hurry up. I can't hold any longer'', he instructed while stopping those shadows.

Jacintha came beside Drake and grab him.

''Drink my blood'', she said to him. Drake turned his sight to see Jacintha. Suddenly Cyrus pushed Jacintha away from Drake. Jacintha was thrown to a tree. She was groaning in pain.

''get lost you bitch!'', he stated angrily.

''Shit'', Kayne uses his power to create a fog.

Jacintha slowly walks towards Drake and grab his arm.

''do it damn it... we don't have much time. Don't you want to save Clara?'', she asked him angrily.

Cyrus was attacking everywhere since he couldn't see anything. Jacintha closes her eyes while exhaling. Suddenly Drake grabs her and pulls her closer to him. Without waiting, he pierced his fangs on her neck. Jacintha groaned in pain while gripping his shirt.

''You think you can stop me? Let me kill her first'', the fog was removed and Cyrus was storming towards Jacintha angrily. Before he grabs Jacintha, Drake grabbed Cyrus's hand and single-handedly throws him at another side. Drake turned to see Jacintha who has already fainted in his arms. He carries her and put her behind a tree carefully.

''Hello, Drake... enough with staring at her. Can you come over to help me?'', Kayne asked exasperatedly.
