i woke up as the plane was just about to land and jules was asleep on my shoulder still. i looked at her phone when she got a notification from snapchat and noticed she was playing love letter on repeat. that's so cute aww🥺
i noticed she started to wake up from the landing so i tapped her shoulder and once she looked at me i smiled at her.
"you like his new song?" i whispered
"mhm" she nodded her head and blushed at the thought of him.

i woke up and saw jaden smiling at me. he must know i listen to payton's music then.
"you like his new song?" he whispered
"mhm" i nodded my head and blushed at the thought of him.
the plane then landed and we grabbed our carry-on bags and got off the plane.
we waited for our luggages at the airport and then eventually they came. jaden called an uber to take us to the hotel that everyone is at.
we went outside and after what felt like forever, the uber came. jaden and i put our things in the trunk and then got in the car.
that's when i got a text from:

hey princess, my flight got cancelled and i can't afford another one. i'm so sorry but i can't make it to playlist. i love you so much please don't cry🥺

i feel so evil for doing this but it'll be worth it. i'm actually already at the hotel and i'm in her and jadens room. i got there early so i can surprise her. i really hope she doesn't cry because i said my flight was cancelled :/

i'm fighting the tears..but we're at the hotel in the parking lot. i thought i would finally get to be safe in payton's arms. i decided to facetime payton since he told me to once we were here.
he didn't pick up which was kind of odd but i brushed it off and walked in with jaden.
"what's wrong?" jaden asked me.
"payton can't make it." i said and a few tears fell from my eyes.
"hey, hey, don't cry. i'm here" he said as he pulled me into a hug.
i cried into his shoulder for a few seconds and then pulled away.
"we should check in." i said and sniffled
"yeah let's go" he said as we walked to the front desk

we just got our room key and as we were walking i noticed jaden had a smirk on his face as if something was planned or something was going on behind myback. i was honestly confused but i mostly ignored it.

once jules told me payton couldn't make it, i knew what was happening. he was secretly here and he was going to surprise her. i didn't know where he was exactly but chase did this for cynthia last year. our room was pretty far down the hall so it was a semi-long walk. i then noticed jules had a confused yet sad look on her face. i was so excited to see her reaction when she sees payton here. we finally got to our room and i unlocked our door.
