"I'm pretty sure that he likes you so much," said Dana, as the two girls walked to their classroom together.

For others, it was strange to see Nase Minari not being dropped off her class by Kuroo Tetsuro and Kozume Kenma. That day was one of the rare ones in which she wasn't accompanied by her two friends, and was instead walking with her former teammate, Dana. All Dana ever did that morning was talk to her about Haiba Lev, and she wasn't sure she was having any of it.

Even Dana was surprised that Minari wasn't with her friends, but she thought that it was an opportunity for her to talk to the girl. When they were finally in their seats, which was coincidentally next to each other, Dana faced Minari to continue talking to her about the mentioned member of the boys' volleyball club.

"I don't care." Minari said, almost just muttering the words. "And honestly, I don't even want to talk about it right now. It's causing me discomfort."

She wasn't really in the mood to talk about things such as love, all she ever thought about last night was one thing. Volleyball. Volleyball. Volleyball. The fact that she already told Dana earlier that she was not in the mood for the Haiba Lev talk, it annoyed her that her former teammate still kept mentioning the tall half-Russian male.

Minari wanted her mornings quiet and peaceful, and it seemed like Dana wasn't going to give her even a bit of that.

"Why wouldn't you? I mean, Haiba from the boys' volleyball club is good looking, and he also can be great since he can use his height as his advantage. He has a huge amount of potential," said Dana, but Minari wasn't having any of it. "It's easy to like that guy."

She hated it the most when someone would press things to her even when she already expressed that she didn't want it. She wasn't in the mood to talk about the confession, and all Dana did since they met up at the gates of the school was try to talk to her about it. Not that she wanted to break the heart of her former teammate, she just didn't want to give a half-assed answer if she forced herself on a topic she didn't even want to talk about.

"Then date him." she deadpanned, sighing as she took her phone out. "If you like him, I think you should stop pushing the idea of me liking him. I honestly cannot be bothered to date right now, Dana."

"You're being mean," said Dana, a pout on her lips forming. "I do have a crush on him, but that's because he's handsome and is promising in the world of volleyball. I just wanna know more about him if you could give me some information."

Minari sighed, before facing the girl. Dana gave her an innocent smile, but Minari just closed her eyes before speaking up.

"I'm just tired. I'm thinking about a lot of things," said Minari, and Dana nodded. "And I'm sorry but I can't give you any information because I do not have his consent. It's better if you approach him yourself if you truly like him."

"Okay. But talk to me if you want to." Dana said, and Minari just nodded.

She only ever opened up to Kuroo and Kenma, anyway. But this time, she was afraid of what they might say. After all, it was something about volleyball.

As their teacher finally went up front, everyone silenced and heard whatever it was to be announced.

"What do you think, Nase?" asked Coach Nekomata, as they both sat down on the bench while observing the 3-on-3 practice matches the boys were having.

"I think they're gradually improving, in terms of strength and stamina. Even-"

"I mean, about being their permanent manager? I know you've been thinking about it, too," the coach said, making her widen her eyes. Did she hear the coach right? Of course, she had been thinking about it as well, she had it as a back-up plan if she was told she cannot play volleyball anymore.

"How did-"

"I saw you earlier. You were trying to talk to your captain, about leaving the team. What made you think so?" asked the coach, and the girl looked down at her lap while fiddling with her fingers.

She breathed in and out, thinking about her decisions. Would it be best if she left the team? There was something that was bothering her. Ever since a few days ago, she just couldn't help but think about it.

"I really love volleyball, with all my heart. I want to be in the court, or wherever near the court. But, coach, I always gain different types of injuries ever since I started playing volleyball. When I went for a checkup on my knee, I was told that if I kept dislocating and injuring my knees, I can never play volleyball again or even walk the same. I didn't want to be a burden to my teammates and to myself, so I think that... being the manager of the club, I can stay close to volleyball, even if it didn't have to be on the court. At least, I can help the team achieve their own dreams for their journey with volleyball," Minari explained, and the coach placed a hand on her shoulder. She flinched a bit, which made Coach Nekomata smile slightly.

"Overworking yourself, always injuring yourself and things along that line... that's really something you shouldn't do. But since you love volleyball so much, I think that the best decision you could ever make is the one you thought of. Be the booster for someone else's dream. You'll always be welcome to be a permanent member of our team, as the manager," Coach said, and she couldn't help but spill down the tears she's been holding in so long.

Minari had been thinking about these thoughts for quite some time now, but she was scared to open it up to Kenma and Kuroo. She was scared about what they might say or think, since they were so close. She didn't want them to be disappointed at her. The center of their friendship, after all, was the fact that they all played volleyball. The decision was hard for her as well, but she felt like her best choice for now was to stop. It wasn't like she would stop playing completely.

"Thank you, coach! I will spend my time trying to give the best support the team will have as the manager!" the girl said, bowing at the older man.

"Alright, alright. I'm glad," coach said, and then they both focused on the game.

She smiled, now fixed on her decision. It's not like she was letting go of her own dream, anyway. She was still in the presence of volleyball, and she just had a new dream of hers.

She would help build players who would reach her dreams for her.
