Izuku Pov:

I woke up on the edge of the bed as I almost fell off. I'm not used to sleeping on a bed this high up. Conditions weren't so good in that abandoned building. He said I could roam if I wanted yesterday, so I silently slipped out of the bed, and walked around peeking into doors until I found a large bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror for a good few seconds before I sighed and shook my head.

Obviously I hadn't kept care or had good personal hygiene. I slipped my clothes off, and took a warm 20 minute shower, before I realized I didn't have clean clothes. I was about to get out when I heard a groggy voice say through the door: "don't get out, you obviously have no clothes". I realized it was the other male, so I obeyed and closed the door.

I faintly heard a creak of a door, and him setting some stuff down. "Be ready in 10 minutes or you don't eat." I heard him say before slamming the door closed. I rolled my eyes at how dramatic he was, but didn't doubt him. I slid on my clothes which were surprisingly cozy, before brushing my teeth, and combing my hair a little. I put my dirty towl in a hamper that had 4 towels in it already that I assumed were dirty.

I left and explored the house a bit before finally sitting down on a rather high chair. He was cooking non-Japanese foods strangely, eggs, bacon, and biscuits. He didn't say anything as he slid the food on two plates and placed a plate in front of me before sitting across from me. His face was emotionless. "Thank you...." I mutter. He gives a small nod indicating he heard.

I wasn't about to start a conversation, so I started quietly eating my eggs. I stared at his hair, wondering what would happen if I touched it. Would it be soft? Would it keep its shape? These weird thoughts kept nagging me, but I pushed them to the far ends of my mind.

After a few minutes, he stood up and placed his plate in a sink. "When you finish, place your plate in the sink" he says simply and walks to the living room. I wonder what happened to his ego since yesterday. What changed?
