"She's a bitch, Aaron. Don't think about her and get upset. She isn't worth it," I said, trying my best to comfort Aaron.

We were currently in the park, a place we used to go as kids before. It was our favorite place and we hung out here a lot. It also gave both of us a sense of comfort and security. This park hasn't changed a bit in the past 10 years and neither has our friendship, and this fact feels oddly very reassuring that Aaron and I will always be there for each other.

What basically happened with Delilah was that she sent Aaron a text message saying it's over and he too busy with me to check it. So technically, they weren't in a relationship when she kissed that other fat ass.

Freaking whore. All she needs is a new boy toy every week.
And who the hell breaks up with someone over text messages?! That's just too cruel.

After that, we decided to skip the first half of school and I drove Aaron down to the park.  We sat on the swings, had some ice cream and then I decided to console him.

"You're right, you know? I don't think I ever loved her. I guess I was just infatuated with her beauty in the end."

That one comment made me happy. The part where he said he didn't love her.

God, my best friend's crying and what am I doing? Celebrating the fact that he doesn't love his ex?

I'm such a wonderful best friend, right?

"So wanna show that bitch what she just threw away?"

"I don't like that look on your face. It spells danger."

I gave him a smug smile and grabbed his hand to take him to do some shopping.

An hour and a half later, we were standing in front of the school's parking lot. Aaron's hair was dyed from blonde to a dark brown with streaks of light brown, auburn and reddish brown between.

His whole skin glowed from the spa I forcefully took him for. (He thought that a facial and skin spa was too feminine a concept for guys).

His outfit suited him perfectly. White tee, black skinny jeans and a black leather jacket, paired up with converse. And of course, aviators.

His make up looked hot too. The contouring and high lighting was done brilliantly, the eye shadow matched his hair and the eye liner was perfect. Mascara gave him super long lashes and the hot pink lipstick was just... ugh! Killer stuff.

Just kidding. No make up.

He looked hotter than ever. The way he smiled and ran a nervous hand through his hair just stopped my heart for a second.

"Will this work?"

"Of course it will. Just like you men, women too tend to get jealous easily."

The plan was basically for Aaron to look super hot (nothing difficult) and for him to hang out with other girls and make the bitch jealous. I don't know why but I agreed to be the other girl we are talking about.

Aaron is just going to flirt with me and do sweet little gestures (in front of Del) so that she realises what a big mistake she made by letting such a perfect specimen of the male species get away.

"I hope it does."
