MELODY WAS half asleep on the train as she headed towards sector 7, eyes dropped as she fought to stay conscious. She wasn't sure why Leo sent her that way, and to the sector's slums nonetheless. Having just been a recent graduate and starting her search for a job, she was struggling. Options were weighing over her as of late from close friends and old school mates. There was the safety factor of Shinra or joining Jax's "team" (or business as it was technically labeled). Her choices were limited she knew that, and she knew where her father was leaning as well which didn't help. Joining a team of hackers that wanted to mine out Shinra's secrets was a challenge she wanted to partake in, but she wished she could without the associated risks. It was what made her decision hard. Melody wasn't much of a risk taker no matter what her heart or mind said at the end of the day. So when Jax approached her begging her to go to one place for him she wasn't sure, but in the end gave in. One last adventure before dates and responsibilities start to crush her she assumed.

Jax Matthews. The two of them met in school and would meet up to do work, it was never anything more even if he had wished it to be. So fast forward to no longer being students, he knew her enough to quite... heavily peruse her to join his fight against Shinra. But he knew she would need convincing beyond his words and beliefs- she would need to see the damage the electric company did in person and from someone living it.

An ID check began as the train approached the station and Melody was gripping the paper in her hands, but not because she was nervous about a simple check. She was nervous, in general, about this trip and what to expect. On a paper that was the source of her nerves was a location and some directions given. Seventh Heaven. She had no idea what it was or meant; to be honest it sounded like a strip club to her, so she was unsure of why Jax would give her a paper with its address.

When the train arrived at the station, Melody got off and began her trip to the sector 7 slums. This was new for her, she'd never been to any of the sectors slums her father forbade it. So it was understandable that she was apprehensive as she didn't know what to expect- from the people to what the area looked like. However, she'd heard stories; How Shinra kept those people down on their knees so it was almost impossible to escape that life. So she wasn't looking forward to seeing the poverty she'd heard all about first hand, while she lived well off since birth.

"Hey! Are you Melody by chance?" hearing a female voice call out her name made Melody spin around trying to find where it was coming from. Nobody recognizable was in immediate sight.

Soon she saw a girl with dark brown hair coming her way waving. She had a pretty face with a warm smile, "um yes I am. And you are?"

"I'm Tifa- sorry to come running after you. Jax said you'd probably get lost and I should come get you."

"Okay cool, yeah I definitely am confused about where I am." she laughed with scrunched eyes as her foot scuffed at the ground in discomfort.
