Eden's POV

For once in my life I woke up happy. Last night was amazing and I was going to see Anthony today.

I quickly got out of bed and did my morning business. I quickly put on my polo shirt, blazer, skirt, white knee high socks, and black converse.

Me being in a rush and all, left my hair natural.

"Yo Edward hurry up!" I stick my head out the door and scream.

"Ay what's the rush!" He yells back

"Don't make me leave your ass" I mutter

"Eden watch your mouth" My mom warns as she walks pass my room.

"Yea Eden watch your mouth"

I turn around and see Edward leaning against the door with his arms crossed.

"What's got you so happy" he questions

"Nothing ed get lost"

"But this is the first time you actually look decent I must ask why"

Ugh brothers.

"I thought you told me I look better without makeup"

I swipe mascara on my eyelashes and add a little eye liner.

"Please don't bring 'that' day up again"

"My pleasure"

I grab my bag and run down the stairs skipping a few.

"Bye mom" I yell and walk out the door.

"Eden, once again, please tell me what has got you so happy that you're wearing make up and waking up earlier than usual" Edward asks as he tries to keep up with my pace which is confusing considering his long legs.

"A guy"

"Is it that dude that came to pick you up yesterday?" He glances at me

"Yup" I smile

"Well isn't that lovely" he sarcastically remarks

"Your just jealous he's hotter than you" I smirk

"Oh really? I'll have you know that my dick is-"

"Bye Edward!"

Damn that boy has issues. I walk into to school and look around for Anthony.

"Looking for someone?" A snotty voice questions.

"Just a guy get lost Kylie" I roll my eyes and continue my search.

"Well there are plenty of guys here wanna be specific?" She gestures around the hallway being sure to wink at a jock.

"Yea but all those guys have been up your STD infesting woman part so you tell me" I smile

"If your looking for Anthony he's right around the corner" she smirks

"Uh...thanks?"

She flips her extensions and walks away. I cautiously turn the corner not expecting to see what I see.

One of Kylie's slut "friends" are pinned against the wall by the guy I thought liked me.

I feel my heart shatter into little shards of glass that cut me body. My binder slipped out of my hand without me knowing.

I watched as Anthony willingly kissed her and felt up her diseased body as if she were sugar.

Tears streamed down my face and so did my mascara probably. I let out a sound that resembled a dying animal.

He turned his head and looked at me blankly. Thank goodness no one had classes in this hallway at the time.

He cleared his throat and fixed his hair.

"Eden" he says and walks towards me

"You were screwing with my feelings weren't you?"

Something told me this would happen, I just didn't want to believe it.

"All this time you were just....toying with me? And for what?" I throw my hands in the air trying to express my anger.

"I'm sorry, she came on to me and I couldn't get her off so I just gave in" he sighs.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know having sex with her in the hallway was code for giving into a 'kiss'"

I pick up my binder and turn to go home until he grabs my arm.

"Let go of me" I pull my arm back and continue my journey.

"I'm really sorry Eden u swear I didn't mean it" he pleads

I don't even want to give him the satisfaction of having my full attention so I only turn my head.

"I thought you were different, it was stupid of me wasn't it? To think that you weren't like other guys?" I laugh

"No that's wasn't stupid of you that was smart I was stupid"

"Whatever"

As I'm about to walk through the doors I bump into my brother and two best friends. Well ex-best friends I guess.

"Oh my gosh Eden what happened?" Crystal wonders.

"Eden are you okay?" Edward asks

"Yep I'm doing great"

Looking at how happy Crystal and Andrew are brings tears to my eyes again.

Is it bad to be jealous of your friend?

Edward takes me into a comforting hug and I cling onto him as if it depended on my life.

"Who do I have to beat up?" He whispers.

"No one, I just want to go home" I attempt a smile that miserably fails.

"It's that Anthony guy isn't it" he seethes in anger.

"Edward...."

"I'm going to kick his ass"

Before I can protest he walks away leaving me with Crystal and Andrew.

"Eden I'm sorry this happened to you" Andrew adds cautiously.

"You guys were right is that what you wanted to hear?"

Maybe Anthony is another Dylan and I was just to foolish to realize.
