"I knew you were trouble when you walked iiinnnn!"

"Edward, I swear to my dead hamsters life, if you don't shut up I'm going to put itching powder in your underwear" I groan

"You love me too much" he winks

We were currently sitting on my bed eating pizza. Edward thinks it's better at curing a heartbreak than ice cream.

"Want to test that theory" I glare at him

"On a serious note, are you okay?" He turns his head on my pillow to look at me.

"I don't know you tell me, I just saw a guy I could possibly like kiss the school slut"

*cue the waterworks*

He moves the pizza box to the floor and turns my around so my back is against his front.

"I could beat him up again"

"I think a broken nose and black eye is enough"

"Not unless he's in the hospital it's not" His grip tightens around my waist and buries his face in my neck.

This reminded me of when his best friend broke his favorite action figure in 1st grade. He came home crying and I automatically comforted him even though he squirted syrup in my face the same day.

"Why did he do that" my voice fails me and cracks.

Anthony isn't worth the tears coming out of my eyes yet they won't stop.

"Cuz he's a dick that's why" he mumbles.

"I don't want to go to school tomorrow"

"Then I'll stay with you"

"If we weren't related people would probably think we were a couple" I smirk

"I wouldn't date anyone with such an ugly face" I can feel his smile against my hair.

"I'm not holding you back from your education Ed" I smile ignoring his last comment.

"If you don't go I don't go, I don't even learn anything anyway" he responds.

"Whatever you say"

"Mhm"

"Goodnight rabbit skin" I say

"Goodnight squirt"

"Wait did you just call me rabbit skin?" He questions

"Nope your hearing things"

"Whatever"

He leans over and kisses my forehead before I fall asleep.

"I'm going to kick your fucking ass if you don't stop talking bullshit"

Who the hell is yelling this damn early?

I lazily get out of bed and walk downstairs.

"I just want to talk to her"

"That's nice can you leave now" Edward grumbles

"What are you doing here"

Both heads turn around and stare at me.

"I want to talk about yesterday" Anthony pleads.

"I have nothing to say to you"

"That's fine just listen please?"

"Edward go to your room" I look over at him mentally begging him not to cause a scene.

His eyes scan my face before he rolls his eyes and walks to his room slamming the door.

"Please have a seat" I say sarcastically

He sits on the couch at least a foot away from me.

After five minutes of awkward silence I speak up.

"Are we going to sit here all day or are you going to tell me why you're here?"

"I'm....sorry for kissing her"

"Don't lie you looked straight in my face while you did it"

"I know but now I regret"

"And why is that?" I roll eyes

"Because I wish it was you"

What.....the fuck

"Uh....okay"

"I know you probably won't be forgiving me anytime soon but can we start over?" He reaches over to hold my hand but stops when I flinch.

"I....i guess so" I look down at my suddenly interesting fiddling fingers.

He smiles and stands up

"Can I get a hug before I go?"

"No but you can get a punch"

He looks down at the floor and I suddenly feel bad.

My arms embrace him before my mind can calculate my actions.

He quickly hugs me back tightly, slightly rocking us side to side.

"Is your face okay?"

"Yea, maybe you can kiss it better"

"In your dreams" I smile

I pull back from the hug and walk him to the door.

"Shouldn't you be in school?" I question

"You're just realizing this"

"Well I didn't really have time to think considering I just woke up"

He laughs

"I didn't see you in first period so I came here"

"Okay well see you tomorrow"

"As long as you don't skip school again"

"That wouldn't matter you'll probably go looking for me again"

I lean against the door frame as he stands outside.

"Damn right I will"

The air suddenly becomes serious, too serious.

"Well bye"

"Till next time Eden"

He leans in and kisses my cheek leaving me to question life.
