Meaning to me

To me this songs talks a lot about not letting other people control your life. Don't let what they think or say effect you enough to change you. Be who you want to be, be your own person, and own it. Be proud to be who you are, and don't let other people tell you otherwise.

It doesn't matter what other people think of you. If they aren't going to accept you for who you are then they are not worth your time. If you are happy with who you are then that's all that should matter. If you change who you are to be who others want you to be you will never be happy with yourself. You need to be who you want, make yourself happy, and not worry about who other people want you to be.

If someone is going to sit there and start judging you, and ridiculing who for being who you are just ignore them. Don't let them control you or who you are. You are amazing just the way you are, and you shouldn't let anyone tell you different.

I personally have had issues with this, and I still struggle with it. I try to be the person everyone else wants me to be, and I don't embrace who I want to be. Instead I hide it and feel ashamed of it. I have been trying to work on being happy with who I am, I'll admit it's not easy, but it's important to be proud of who you are. Everyone is different and we need to embrace out differences. If we were all the same life would be boring.

One thing I have been trying to do to help me appetite who I am is to try new things that I find cool even if it's outside of my comfort zone. I feel that if I don't try something I want to try I'll never know of it's me or not. If it makes me happy I keep going with it, but if it doesn't then I just move on. Most importantly though I try not to let what others think or say change my mind. It's hard, but I am trying my best.

I hope you are all embracing the amazing people that you are. Be happy with who you are by being who you want to be no matter what other people think. Embrace who you are and if someone wants to judge you just ignore them and be proud to be you. You are all amazing in your own way, and that is definitely something to be proud of.
