Chapter 12

Lucy's POV

Finally we get to go! I like singing and all but being in the same room as Natsu and Gray has taken its toll on me. I walk out of the building with Natsu and them trailing behind me.

"Heeeeey! Lucy! Over here!"

I look up to see the gang all waving at me.
"Hi," I call back. Evergreen ignores me and says,"Come. Now."

I walk over and say,"Yeah?"

"C'mon. Let's go."

"Where?"

"What do you mean,'where?' To the house, duh."

"Fine," I say, and look back over try shoulder to glance at Natsu and them.

"See ya later."

They just look confused and Gray asks, "Who are they?"

"They're my friends."

I walk over to the gang and they bombard me with questions.

"Can I meet them?"

"Can we go to a concert?"

I close my eyes for a second, and smile. Call me weird, but I occasionally like to hear the clamor of the whole gang talking at once.

"I thought we already went over this. Yes, you can go meet them, and yes, I'll give you guys tickets for the next concert."

About a quarter of them go running towards the boys. The rest of us just look at where they are now. Evergreen just shakes her head and says,"Fangirls. They'll never change."

The rest of us just laugh. We stand there for a couple minutes in silence, until I speak up.

"Let's just go ahead of them."

Murmurs of agreement are exchanged before we set off for the house. We walk for about five minutes before I hear someone faintly shouting. As they grow closer, I realize that it's the rest of the gang shouting for our attention.

"HEY! WAIT FOR US!"

Erza shouts back just as loud, if not louder than the one who yelled first. "YOU'RE DISTURBING EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. SHUT UP!"

"YOU'RE YELLING LOUDER THAN I AM!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Erza yells even louder.

After a couple minutes of waiting, they're finally able to catch up to us.

"Jesus Christ, Erza! You probably woke up the whole neighborhood!" one girl says. Her name's Elie.

"Shut up," Erza says, mock-glaring at Elie. We all laugh as we walk to the house.

A short while later, I'm saying bye to the gang.

I pull shut the door, and breathe out. I love them like family, but sometimes I need a break from them.

I start heading home, staring at my shoes, not bothering to look up. I bump into various people, some looking at me and others shouting. I'm too tired and lazy to say sorry.

Before I know it, I'm standing in front of the band's house, which is temporarily mine.

The door opens before I get a chance to push it.

"Hey, Luce!" Natsu says, giving me a toothy grin. Gray appears from behind Natsu and pushes him out of the way.

"God, Lucy! Do you know how much Fire Breath takes about you while you were gone?"
