hey guys hope everyone is doing okay with everything that is going on in the world right now, i realized that during this pandemic i had been feeling down after just getting out of a year relationship and turned to writing. I have been working on this Lauren/ reader or maybe Lauren/ you but might put it as a Lauren/ made up characters name. i didn't even realize its 60 pages on goggle docs crazy right its been my escape from reality an some events in the story are dark probably because of the state i was in but i was wondering your thoughts. let me know if you'd want me to post it up and if you would leave some good character names below. Before i leave a little sneak peek the story is about a girl who is dealing with a complicated relationship with her former gf you'll see more about it as i will put it in flashbacks. She goes to the bar getting out of a fight with her where she meets Lauren who is also at a loss with what she wants not knowing if her music carre will take off till she meets (yn or a charater name lol) will they both find love?

The bar was dimly lit just like anyone you visit on the streets of new York. The different people who walk the stress of New York all hold a story. Some come from another state coming to follow their dreams, there are native New Yorker, and celebrities. It was a slow Monday night bars aren't usually packed with twenty one year olds and people in between just regulars.

A girl in her twenties came in a duffel bag hanging off one shoulder, obviously distressed look on her face,The bartender smiled and slid her over nice cold modelo beer. It seemed that they knew each other the girl smiled weakly this time. I looked down and saw Scrolling through her phone and the girl's smile was sad. Anyone can see it written on her face why else would she be her at this time.

"Hey cool phone case" the girl at the end of the bar looked up at the sudden voice her eye went up a little bit

"oh thanks-- wait you can see it from all the way down there"

"Yea i got x-ray vision" Lauren lifted up her glass of beer y/n giggled

"Oh so you mean you can see me naked then?" nearly spitting out her beer

"I'm kidding-- i'm y/n"

"Lauren, but i think you already knew that, i'm out here for a week"

y/n nice name first time hearing that name the only other person that has it is that professional tennis player Lauren got up sitting next to y/n didn't make sense for her to be at the other end. y/n was too busy typing away at her phone she could see her hazel eyes becoming glossy.

"Hey whats up? You look like your about to cry"

"Well i uh don't know what to feel at the moment. I want to believe her but i just cant" seeing the confusion written on the green eyed girls face y/n continued "my girlfriend came home with a type of bruise on her neck i mean it could be hickey but i don't know and now she has another i just i feel" Lauren sighed knowing the position the girl at the bar was in

"What's your gut telling you? As an artist it's hard having that bond with a person when your on the road so much it's hard but I learned that whenever I felt a drop in my stomach or flutter in my chest something was up it also depends on the person you're with did you ask about it?"

"Yeah...she said it wasn't and just watched tv but i don't know i just whatever its stupid" y/n went to get up but Lauren placed her on ther girls wrist

"Hey why don't we go for a walk? I hear the city is amazing in the night" y/n was hesitant at first

"Come on it'll be fun and you deserve some time away from you know who promise i'll make it worth your while"

"Fine let's get out of here, see ya cregi"

The two girls walked out the bar as if nothing had gone wrong, y/n for once in her life felt carefree her heart light for once instead of holding dread on it. Around the one I'm Lauren and y/n were sat on a bench overlooking the Hudson y/n had her head laying on her shoulder.

"I miss this-- being out here in the open--" turning her head Lauren placed a kiss on the girls forehead intwinig their hands

"Mhmm this-- actually feels normal for once i love what i do but right now i feel normal-- it'll get easier they said but everyday just feels sooo long man"

"I know-- well going to school almost everyday is a lot but probably not as hectic as your life," snuggling closer

y/n phone buzzed snapping both girls out of their trance y/n face flushed "don't answer--"

"I wasn't, how long are you here for?"

"About two weeks then i'm off to Los Angeles again why?"

"Oh uh nothing, i like this as well," Lauren lifted her head from my shoulder smiling at me, "you look beautiful right now may i?"pulling out her phone I blushed slightly her slim fingers lightly turned my head to the left where the light hits my face as she clicked away when she was done "okay look" I lend to the side taking her phone in my hand the light was perfect, almost as if we were set up for a photo shoot, "oh wow you were right I didn't think I'd looked that good" she looked at me as if I was crazy, "your beautiful yn doesn't your girlfriend tell you?"

"Oh well not all the time but from time to time" I felt her lean in close as she twirled a piece of my hair on her finger "it's getting cold out and I don't want this night to end..." I felt the heat rising on my neck if you would've told me this last year that Lauren Jauregui was hitting on me id laugh in your face, "y-yea id like that" she popped up smiling "my lady" i laughed grabbing her hand as we walked the rest of the dark cool November park.
