I ran out of pops, bags in hand, as fast as humanly possible. I could hear Archie calling for me but I ignored it and got into the car. I started crying uncontrollably, forgetting that my little girl was in the back seat.

"Mommy, whats wrong?" she said, smiling sweetly at me.

"Nothing princess. Mommy's fine" I quickly responded.

I tried to pretend that I was okay so she wouldnt ask more questions, but what she asked next sent me over the edge.

"Can Juggie come home with us?" she asked, unknowingly.

My eyes began to water and my lips curled into a sad smile as I told her that 'Juggie' wasn't coming home with us. A wave of sadness passed over me when she looked down to the floor and started gently crying, clearly upset that her new friend wasn't coming home with her. I was torn from my thoughts as Archie jumped into the passenger seat of the car. Without saying anything he leaned over and trapped my lips in a passionate kiss.

'I love Archie.' I kept trying to remind myself. 'But not in the way I love the beanie wearing serpent that stole my heart all those years ago'.

I hastily pulled away from Archie and started the car, just wanting to get home.

The ride to my mothers was silent. Archie was looking out the window clearly thinking deeply about something and Juliet was playing a game on my phone.

When we pulled into my mother's driveway, I quickly grabbed Jules from the backseat and asked Archie to get the bags as I practically ran to the front door.

My father answered the door and pulled both me and Juliet into a bear hug.

"Oh how I've missed my two favourite girls!" he exclaimed, smiling brightly at his daughter and grand daughter.

When I walked into my childhood home I immediately felt safe. I put my daughter down and asked her to go play in her room here, she happily complied and ran up the stairs, tripping a few times.

"Your mother is in the living room sweetie." my dad said sweetly.

I smiled and thanked him.

I walked into the living room and was greeted by my bright eyed, smiling mother, but as soon as she saw my tear stained cheeks, puffy eyes and red nose her smile dropped.

"You saw him, didn't you?" I just nodded and collapsed into my mother's arms sobbing.

"Oh baby." she said into my hair. After what felt like hours of crying and hugging my mom, i gathered myself as my mom asked me if I could go to the grocery store for her.

"Hey Jules. wanna come to the shops with mommy?" I shouted up at my babygirl.

A few minutes later she came running down the stairs in her jacket and shoes.

I just smiled at the little girl in front of me and took her hand as we walked to the car.

10 minutes later I pulled into the parking lot of the grocery store and jumped out the car.

"Come on baby." I said smiling sweetly at my daughter and holding my hand out for her.

When she got out the car she immediately grabbed my hand and started to run towards the shop, giggling. After about 30 minutes just walking around and picking things up we headed to the checkout area.

A loud crash came from beside us.

I looked up to once again see the one and only, Jughead Jones.
